Of course they enforce the name calling. I know because someone reported me for calling them something related to their mother and intercourse. But if you don't report them Blizzard won't know. Don't expect them to do something if you don't let them know it happened.
But here you are again pulling things out of no where to give you a leg to stand on, when in-fact you don't have anything to back your claims up.

I got two of the 4 required marked off my list yesterday. AV is tough, and I didn't get a WSG in the random BG's I did with the guild.
EotS is easy when people begin focusing more on killing each other outside of the middle, and you can kinda cruise around to a less occupied tower.
In AB, keep an eye open for areas that are being left behind due to zergs. It helped to cap the lumbermill so you can have a birds eye view of the 3 below. I was able to assault the stables because the alliance left it behind to attack the mine :)

this is why blizz keeps making this game easier by nerfing so everyone is happy people like him are the reason why this game is years behind the glory vanilla days

Carebears, carebears everywhere. My arguement to this has always been; insted of *!@#$ing about hard knocks during its week, why not spend the other 51 weeks of the year getting a bit better at pvp? It really does not take long to get decent at a class you know (through PvE)
Thats the problem with this achievment...it has almost nothing to do with PvP. Its not something that you can "spend the other 51 weeks getting better at".
The achievement is flawed because it relies too much on latency, luck, and class skills.
If the achievment was to get 50 killing blows in all 4 BG's, then you would have a point.
But an achievment that really comes down to who has the fasteset mounted speed, and the lowest ping has nothing to do with PvP skill. Getting lucky and getting the opposing faction to repeatedly drop the flag in their flag room an allow everyone to return it has nothing to do with PvP. Getting someone to recap a tower in AV to allow everone to cap it has nothing to do with PvP.
And moreso, Blizz has pulled all the other previous requirements out of the meta that had some unintended consequence on portions of the playerbase. And it is a FACT that their are a lot of players in the game that play on less than ideal connections, and they have no alternative avaliable to them. If you have a ping of more than 150ms, getting this achievment has NOTHING to do with skill, it is all luck or charity, and since Blizz already removed all the other luck based achievments frm the meta, I see no reason this one should not be pulled as well.
Honestly, I would rather it be change more than pulled. But make it "PvP" objectives. Killing blows, BG wins, damage / healing done in a BG....anything but running faster and clicking faster than other members of your own team.
If you can't see the problem here, than just continue to name call, and look the other way while many of us get screwed.

Wow... I got that achievement in about two hours. First try on each of the battlegrounds. Don't get me wrong, I cheated outrageously. The cheat that I used is that I'm passingly good at PvP and was able to have a few friends get together so we could all get the achievements. Suuuuuuuuper Easy.
PS: If you aren't good at PvP, just get some basic gear and focus on your target. You will probably loose the matches, but seriously, QQ More.

And you did at the expense of your team by focusing purely on the achievement
The kind of 'bad' behavior that occurs more often during Children's Week and the main problem people don't like about it
How do you know they didn't win those BGs? Scott said he brought several friends along to help get it, and more people should do that if they want to get it easily. You can do the achievement as well as win the BG. Just do what is needed for the chieve then work on winning the BG.

Yes it matters if they win it or not, because if they win it as well as get the achievement then they aren't causing their team any harm. The objective of the achievement are something you should work on in the BG.
In WSG you need some people to return the flag. If they take turns of people guarding our FC and having some go to the EFC to return the flag, you can get the objects and win the BG.
AB requires you to cap bases to win. Just have a group guard 2 nodes and another group going about capping/re-capping other nodes. IF they do it right you can easily win as well as get the objective for the achievement.
Now EOTS has 2 good strats to win. The easiest is to just hold 3 bases. The next way is to just hold 2 and get flag caps. Just rotate those guarding the bases and getting flag caps, easy win.
Now AV may be a little harder than the other 2 as only 4 people may get it, unless the towers get re-capped, and there are 40 people in the BG. Get a small group of people you know to just help you get to a tower. This one will probably take the longest to get.
The problem most people run into is they try to do this alone. While it can be done, it is much easier if you get a group to do it. This way you can get the achievement as well as win the BG, without cousing harm to those not in your pre-made group. Just let them know you plan on working toward the achievement before it start and offer to help them if they would like it.

My biggest issue with this achieve isn't that it's hard or difficult or takes time. It's that no one benefits from it. PvPers ^&*!@ and moan because of all the PvE kiddies flooding BG's and ruining game play. PvEers moan because they do not like to PvP.
Who wins? Why is it here?

You know the biggest thing I see in game in regards to these achievements? It's the PVPers who, while they go on and on about how the PVE'ers are #$%^ing with their fun, then grief anyone who tries to help: I've seen that, where a Horde is trying to assist with cap trading or the tower in AV....then you have people who only focus on them, and kill them on sight, same as those who just target people with orphans, leaving every one else alone.
The mindset isn't just on the PVE side, it runs rampant on the PVP one as well.

I've been dreading this for months, avoided even trying for years. 4 BG's, all 4 achievements. I even did the WSG flag twice when I realized I didn't summon the stupid kid. I did this as a Holy PLD.
I'll add my $.02 worth of advice:
Arathi Basin: Besides the race to farm or stables... Be relentless on the flags. Choose one that gets turned over often, Mines and Lumbermill. Hug the flag and only focus on trying to capture it. Hide behind the flag, wait for other team members to run in and take attention. This is going to be unpopular, but let a single opposition take the flag then kill him and take it back.
AV: If you follow the group, it's a speed race. Take a more direct path and you'll beat everyone to the first tower. If you don't beeline for the second tower. Hide behind the pillars or inside the hut to cap with the npc's still up. Hit a speed potion when you get inside to give you the extra edge.
EoTS: I didn't try to farm the middle, I just followed the EFC when they picked it up. Horde and Ally was sitting the middle with no one protecting the flag carrier. Everyone was so worried about picking it up when it spawned that they forgot you could take it from someone who had already picked it up.
WSG. Be a relentless defender. Don't leave the room until your flag does. Watch the EFC's health and start spamming your right click above their head when they get close. Save your trinkets until the EFC is close to death.
Join a bg as a group that needs the achievements. It's the only way to help organize people and avoid the free for all. Stick together and take turns. Use people from your guild or server who already have it. Pay a Pvp-roided dps or healer to be your buddy through it.
Use speed potions!
Respec to take advantage of any speed talents you can. Even respec for pvp talents just for this.
Don't do a thing until you bring your kid out. You will die, and you will forget to resummon. Move the summon to your hotkeys before you even buff

How is this hard?
PvPers could QQ about PvE achievements being too hard too.
I find this ridiculous. Achievements are to somewhat make you special; Oh, look, I put a lot of effort for this.
It serves its purpose well.
EDIT :
I finally browsed all the pages of this thread and WOW, I am amazed at the amount of whining.
This achievement is based on LATENCY? SKILLS?........ Wow... That applies to EVERYTHING.
For every aspect of this game, you have to do some research and develop your skills in that area. I can understand being a newb in a BG and dying all the time (no, I can't. Seriously, you don't really know how to play the game if you end up 0-40 even with 0 gear).

Hi, OP here again. I'm going back to standing behind the original post. I just did a bunch of queues into AV yesterday & today, and without getting into the whole story of it, the frustration is so bad that I'm currently having an anxiety attack. I play WoW as a means of having fun in order to fight chronic depression. For a long time the holidays have been one of my favorite aspects of the game, and I've put a lot more effort into them than into anything else, even staying up late so often & making my body so sore from marathon playing that it's set me back in trying to heal from a multitude of other medical conditions. THAT'S how much I care about doing this. And to be honest, I don't even care about the Violet Proto-Drake. It's getting the Long Strange Trip that I've been seeking after, to hold up to myself as a personal trophy won by years of hard work & diligence. But after finding the overwhelming frustration that merely attempting this achievement has given me, I realize IT IS NOT EVEN WORTH IT. I've officially Ragequit on trying for all holiday achievements entirely, because it IS NOT POSSIBLE for me complete this long term project unless this ONE achievement is taken out of the equation. I've posted a thread on the official forums about it (which I expect will get locked quickly)... I just don't know any other way to file an official complaint directly to Blizzard about this. And, like the achievement, it's probably not even worth trying, since Blizz has ignored 4 years worth of complaints from hordes of players, so they probably won't give a rat's *** about mine either.
Anway, I need to leave. the longer I spend reading or typing about this subject, the longer my current anxiety attack will last.
