Very first family pet I remember were a brother and sister cat named Marmalade and Rosie; I don't remember much about them lol. Very first 'personal' pet was a turtle whose name I rotated among the Ninja Turtles; he was a big sucker who we would let wander around the house, till he apparently escaped out the back door(in reality, we think our then boarder sold him, but could never prove it).

#111: My first pet was a dog we named Dixie. We had her when I was 5/6. The one thing I remember about her was I had to crawl under our trailer/house to get the puppies she had. And that wasn't the first time either, several years and a couple of dogs later another female dog had new pups under our new trailer.
#110: My father. He gets so damn annoying all the time. I am 22 years old and yet he still has to remind me how to feed our pets and do most anything I have been doing for years. He is such a hypocrite. When he drinks on the weekends he can have his radio blaring and not give a damn. But if anyone else in the house gets a little to loud during the week he goes bat$%^& crazy and yells about it. There is more, but I don't feel like typing it all out.

I had a rabbit called Thumper (so original I know) when I was like 4. I don't remember much about it but it must have been cute. What bunny isn't cute.

I had one pet until I got married. It was a tiny little dog that ran away when I was 5. I remember it being small. When I got married, my wife owned several animals... 30 or so.

My first pet was a puppy named Pookie- I think I was 6 or 7. My dad was at a construction site in the city, working, and he put his coat down because even though it was cold out, he was hot from working. When he went to pick it back up, a stray puppy had crawled in to stay warm, so he brought her home.
She didn't stay with us very long, because we were allergic :(

It was a salamander.
I found her in a box of Fresh Direct Salad, (true story) and got into a huge fight with my friend over at the time over who would keep her. I won.'
She died a couple weeks later. Just refused to eat anything and even when I let her free she wouldn't move or eat or anything.

Growing up, I had a tom cat named Tigerkittykiki. He was a beat up little guy and would often be gone for months on end, and show up randomly just as friendly and happy as can be. He was probably one of the meanest looking cats ever, but the most loving of felines!
Our farmer neighbors always seemed to have an abundance of cats it seemed. I bet he was the culprit on it.

I had a fish, my dad is asthmatic so fur was out of the question.
Rest of my family went on holiday (visiting mother's family), left it with my dad and it died.

But I saw an adorable semi-wild kitteh yesterday. It required all my strength to not just take it right there and bring it back home..

A full breed cockerspaniel. I was in kindergarten and my mom had picked us up from school and dropped us off at our grandparents telling us she had errands to run. When she got back about 30 minutes later she had this puppy. It was the sparkle of my freakin' eye. We named it wiggles cause it's tail never. stopped. moving. EVER.

#112- If you could be permanently unemployed- like if you were financially independent and didn't have to work to live, but also weren't living off of anyone else- would you? Or would you have to work?
