QOTD Thread #332- Do you think that people should keep cats outdoors?

@Question # 95:
I used to be very artistic, drawing and painting everything that came to mind. Then I
really
discovered video games and that's kinda taken over my spare time unfortunately.
I'm still an avid writer though. There's some enjoyment in making up someone's life and controlling the outcome of it.

I'm very artistic... in my head. I'm working hard on getting the images in my head out where others can see them, through my photography. I'm getting the camera part down, next challenge is going to be mastering Photoshop.

I'm not. The extent of anything I do being artistic is making my own Facebook 'cover photos' in paint. Yes, I know. That's sad.

I write. People lke to tell me that I write well and have a great imagination, but I'm not sure if I believe that.

I don't think I write spectacularly well (and I suck at first person narratives) but I like that. L'histoire is in the arts, so I guess constructing judgements and arguments and... things... would count as an artsy-ish thing as well. I used to draw a lot when I was much younger, before games
ruined my life
made me lazy.

#96- Were you an independent child? Did you always want to be out doing things, running around the neighborhood, etc.? Or were you the child who cried about being left at school the first day, or the first week? When something went wrong, did you run to your parents right away, or just deal with it the best you could with your child logic?

My parents were psychologically abusive, and, really, just awful people. I was locked in my room every day for several hours a day, with nothing on the walls, nor books, nor TV, nor toys, nor anything. When I did get other interaction with humans my age, I was very very unpopular, with everyone. I was cynical and abrasive, much more-so than I am now. I had no one. I grew up forming my own personality and beliefs. I had no choice but to be independent, and I continue to be fiercely independent today.

More or less a carefree child. As xedosz said, running around in the neighborhood. My parents were more............. overprotective of my little brother than me (He was always sickly and more frail)

I have the most amazing parents, so I never had any reason to not be best friends with them and I never rebelled or anything like that. I don't think I was ever clingy either. So I'm not really sure if I was independent or not.

The NEW QOTD Thread: #97- Were you an independent child?
I was a loner. I have other things to say about my parent's parenting style or lack thereof, but I won't.

It depends on what period of my childhood. For the most part I was independent. It wasn't by choice. A lot of things fell into play that sort of forced me to grow up faster and be independent.
