Fanboys, like Ranky said, as well as the elitists. Also, people who starve for attention. It's annoying enough to deal with it in real life, let alone on the internet where you want to get away from real life.

I think that while it is accurate that the demographic of the straight white male has not because of those classifications been oppressed historically very often, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's ok to ignore when people are discriminatory against them. If the ideal we're striving for is to have people treated equally, and without classification, then we're not going to reach it by selective application. They may not need protection, but WE need consistency in our arguments and our message in order for it to be taken seriously. The ideal needs us to care whether it's being universally applied because if its not, then the ideal isn't really being espoused at all.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##

I think I'd have to put racism and sexism too.
Other things include cyberbullying, willful ignorance, and
people who can't spell.

#319- What gets on your nerves most on the internet?
Smart asses and people who are elitist in the sense they have zero (or close to zero) tolerance for stupidity. Ironically, I do also dislike stupidity, but only after it's made clear said stupid persons is incapable of "comprehending" the information presented to them (i.e. someone asks a question about the class, it receives a perfectly fine or correct answer, and the asker debunks or ignores it and continues to ask).
I also dislike people with generally negative or rude attitudes (see: League of Legends - "Go kill yourself" etc) and people who clearly lack any sort of ability to use the power of reason.
Take notes, guys - btw thanks for putting up the question.
There's a difference between unwilling ignorance and willing ignorance :P
Also I like being a smartass :( I agree with you though.

Obvious signs of rape-culture/sexism that gets a lot of positive attention, negative use of the term '%^&got/gay' (bundle of sticks in case filter) are probably the two biggest for me.

People acting like experts or like they know about an issue just because they get 10 minutes to Google it in between posts.

Trollfucious
Trollfucious thinks that the capital letter lock gets on his nerves on the internet, and also sometimes when the videos stop playing and the mouse just goes around and around and means to show that the rest of the video is loading, but then it never does, and you have to refresh the screen, but then it starts at the beginning, and Trollfucious can never find his place in the movie :(

Christian themed facebook status' and emails that use the "If you are not ashamed of Me, then repost / forward to (x people)" line at the end.
Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
That is a very powerful verse. I have little doubt that its intention was NOT meant for Facebook status' and e-mail chains, yet I get at least 10 of them a day it seems.

#320- What is the biggest compromise you've made with a significant other- the thing that was the hardest to give up your ground on?

Couldn't afford to keep buying hand lotion, so switched to a bargain brand. Gave me hell for that one.

There are pictures of me with painted nails and make-up on in existence.
