QOTD Thread #332- Do you think that people should keep cats outdoors?

It might be needed to survive (however I'm not dead so not so sure about that) but there is no need what so ever to treat animals the way they are treated. Have any of you seen their living conditions before they are made in to meat? I've seen some. It's not pretty, especially with chickens. Whenever I buy meat, I always look for the more humane brands.
Silly fishes, think they're the royals of the world.
You know, one could make the same argument for cats, thinking that they're better than everyone else. Totally indifferent, haughty, and smug. "You're not better than me, Mr. Fuzzies!"
And then he rubs up against your leg or nudges your hand, giving you the false hope that he might actually like you. Then he walks away, destroying your confidence and making you feel less important than that stupid tangled bunch of yarn he always plays with. "Why won't you love me?"
That said, I won't wear porcupine. I won't do it.
That car crash would be a total bloodbath. Airbags popping as soon as they deploy, kids and adults alike getting skewered on their own lapels... Horrifying.

Both of
these shirts
are mine. Guy in the foreground is my friend Sajan (he's hosting an end of the world party, woo). Don't have an unshooped pic of this, my friend Jimbob took the pic and edited + uploaded it.
Edit: Oh, the shirt I'm wearing is from Nigeria. Got it from our parish priest, since that's where he comes from. He studied in Brussels though.

#248- Do you correct other people's kids? Like, if you are in public and a child is running around screaming, will you tell the child to stop before they get hurt? If your friend's kid curses, do you say something to the kid? What about nieces, nephews, cousins- kids you're related to, but aren't yours?

It the kid is doing something really dangerous, I do interfere. Also if I would see obvious bullying taking place, I would probably chime in somehow, but that would be a rather sticky situation. If someone is blasting loud music in a bus or a tram (it's usually children with their phones), I do tell them to hush it. If I see children smoking on a bus stop, I notify them about the minimal distance they have to keep from the bus stop.
I am not annoyed by generic children behaviour like talking loud or so.
I have never had someone who would take an issue with my notification, and I do have a history of notifying groups of bald men about smoking at incorrect places and dropping things on the ground "by accident". I am not afraid to approach a group of nazis, so I really do not mind approaching children.

But Raaaaaaaaaaaank! You should probably post a pic of you wearing one. I'm sure your gramma would love it :)
I looked through my closet and everything I have kept I like and enjoy, unlike the 7 bags that I just gave to charity. I do remember seeing something resembling
this
, but it was pink and aqua.
As for correcting other people's kids, I do from time to time when a customer brings their kids in and they're being naughty. I've had to scold kids for smashing the keyboard on my boss's laptop and for snooping through desk drawers. I've had to tell parents that if they can't keep their kids under control that they need to sit in the car because I don't have time to play babysitter while trying to help them.

Nieces and nephews, yes. My friends don't have kids, otherwise I might do it with them as well. And I don't do it with strangers' kids. But then, I've never really seen a stranger's kid acting so far out of line that I felt the need to correct that behavior.
