When it comes to fur, I prefer foxes and wolves over cheaper ones, like bunnies. I am planning to have a few pieces made of fur in my historical costume for performing. It is a good and authentic way to keep myself warm during events that take place in colder weather. If I could get my hands on a good bear hide without going bankrupt, I would totally jump at it.
I refuse to eat a lot of animals... especially things that come from the sea. But not really for, like, ethical reasons, they just do not look very appealing to me. I would never eat a cat, because it would feel like cannibalism. I have never seen or eaten dog or horse meat, nor would I ever prefer it over any other meat, but if I were to starve to death and my only choice would be between a cat or a horse/dog, I would not pick the cat. (If my only choice would be a cat, I would rather roast myself to feed the cat and wish it a long and happy catlife.)
I really do not have a problem with hunting animals for meat or leather/fur, if it is done the right way. All hunting laws in civilized countries exist to minimize the suffering on the side of the animals. That's why bow hunting, for instance, is prohibited in central European countries.
I am generally against inhumane treatment of animals, but really... it is hard to do anything about it. Chicken for instance are often treated terribly. But what can I do, I am not really gonna stop going to McDonalds. I do prefer to buy a chicken from a proper farm, heck, that's the best quality chicken meat you can get, but it's expensive as hell.

I've never really had an oppotunity to wear any sort of animal, with the exception of my moccasins, belts, and shoes. I do have a bear skin shawl my dad got me once upon a time but it's just not my thing.
As for eating, any sort of domesticated animal is totally out of the picture. Any wild game though, count me in. Meat meat!
Edit:
(If my only choice would be a cat, I would rather roast myself to feed the cat and wish it a long and happy catlife.)
lol So would I! Especially my widdo dood. I wuv my widdo dood, I wouldn't want him starving :(

If it's necessary for survival, the only one I might have a problem with is eating a human. I wouldn't mind if people at me, because I'd probably already be dead and they'd probably needed the food to keep themselves from dying. Me actually eating human flesh on the other hand... I'm not sure if I could do it, even if it meant my own survival.
In just a general setting where survival isn't on the line, I'm not that big a fan of red meat anymore, especially beef. Nothing against the taste or treatment of the cows or anything, it's just that it makes me feel bloated and weighted down. I prefer light foods to heavy ones.
Except for you, fishes. We all know you live perfect lives. Check your fish privilege.
Warning: TVTropes link incoming!
You know, I've always found it funny that, even in most media where animals can talk and have personalities:
fish are food
,
barring that inevitable exception to the rule
and some other notable aversions/inversions/subversions of the trope. I think it has to do with the fact that fish just don't have discernible personalities in real life, so it's easier to see them as food for the personable animals.

I mean, in the situation where I'd need to survive, I'd probably cook my cat or dog. But chances are I'd vomit it up, thus rendering it useless.

All of them. I don't care about animals being killed for food, I care about how they are treated to be made in to meat. It's one of the sickest business out there and there seems to be very few options to eat meat that hasn't been made that way. Rather just stay away from all of it completely. Vegan 4 lyfe.

you've been spending too much time on tumblr <33
Umm I eat meat but only free range, so they've been treated ethically and lived happy lives. I don't like a lot of fish so don't eat a lot, except tuna which I also make sure is fished more ethically. I wouldn't eat pet animals because my cat is basically pharaoh so.
I don't go out of my way to wear leather, but I think I have a leather belt. I don't think I would ever wear animal fur, barring some extenuating circumstance - and then, I don't know if I could justify killing and skinning an animal just to stay warm.

Anything with eyes! Well, I'm not a vegan - I eat eggs and food with milk in them. I found out I could survive on a vegan diet though, if I swapped my vegetarian hot dogs for vegan ones.
I also own a pair of leather shoes for interviews. If I can find a good pair of faux leather I'll replace them.
And the fact no one ever mentioned it up until now is disturbing.
Humans are delicious. Just don't use teeth.

I consider it a privilege to be able to decide what I will not eat. Throughout history, people have starved to death. Even today, there are people who don't have food. For me, to be able to decide what I will eat, isn't taken for granted.
That said, I won't wear porcupine. I won't do it.

I'd be interested in seeing the concept art for such an outfit- lol.

Could you imagine getting in a car wreck, while riding in a minivan, and all other passengers are wearing porcupine coats?

I actually watched
Dark Matters: Twisted but True
last night, about the group of Russian scientists who starved to death, protecting Pavlovsk Experimental Station (aka: the seed bank that saved I think 75% of the nation by replanting the grain fields destroyed by Germany). I had heard of it once upon a time, but now just discovered the rest of the story. It's amazing to see how far some people will go to protect the future of humanity.

I don't really have any restriction's on what i eat, other than than personal preference and whether or not its safe to eat. That being said I don't think i would eat or wear anything that was taken from an endangered species.

I'd probably have to go with dog, if only because I actually have a pet dog.
