#218 - The first that I can remember, I was about eight, it was New Year's Eve and my mum gave me a glass of buck's fizz. I loved that ^&*! when I was younger. But apparently as a baby I used to dump my dummy into people's glasses of beer when my parents were at a pub, and the suck the foam from it. So I guess I'm just genetically an alcoholic or something.
#219 - Chemistry, easily. I always liked biology but never was engaged with the way it was taught, eventually getting bored, I got left behind too much in physics to enjoy it (as everyone else in my class was studying further maths, the teachers assumed that we all already knew about a million mathematical concepts), but chemistry was always the most enjoyable to study, even when reading. I connected with it much more than any other science, in the end. It was a real science I could engage with, enjoy and understand.
#220 - I keep myself busy. And sometimes if I can't do that I just go home early, which my boss has never had a problem with. Over the holidays, however, it'll probably be reading or studying.

Voting is compulsory in Australia.
Still easy enough to get away with not voting. Especially if you live a transient lifestyle like me. I have turned up to the polling booth twice ever. Both times I voted for blank sheet.
No, because I've never been able to vote in the UK, and back home all of the "politicians" (really stretching the term) are more interested in maintaining the status quo than anything else. There's never been a candidate that I think I would like to actively support.
Actually, you just described quite literally every politician in the world. Politics is the most false of all false institutions.

I'm a pretty decent poker player. And in general I think I'm an okay liar. Not amazing, but okay. I tell the truth often enough that people trust me, and that's what gets me through I think.

DBZ and Mario Kart.
Mastodon and Dr Dre.

I used to dance okay when I took party drugs. These days, not very well at all. Even if I'm wasted and lose most of my inhibitions.

Well I'd tasted a few beers here and there as a kid - just the dregs at the bottom of the bottle when my foster dad was letting me taste a few different ones. My first experience where I actually drank more than a couple of mL would have been at a friend's 18th birthday party down at the community hall. I was 15 at the time. I can still remember exactly what I had: 2 cans od Woodstock, 1 can of Jim Beam, 1 can of Cougar, and 1 stubbie of Tooheys New. At no point in the night did I feel particularly drunk, although I was quite happy.

No, I mean with absolutely no ambition for reform in
anything
. It's too conservative, we got civil partnership about seven years after the mainland UK, for example.

Listen to music (yes the nature of my work allows this)

Didn't see 219.
Put it this way: in year 12 I scored 90 in physics, 65 in chemistry and didn't even study biology.
Physics was the only class I never cut. I cut all my other classes on a regular basis. Some days I'd turn up to school for my 8am physics class and then just leave afterwards.

#219 Out of the three I'd opt for physics but it would be a close run thing between physics and chemistry. When I was at school we did a combined sciences course so I never really got a clear cut feeling for each in its own field. If I had gone to college instead of straight into the work place I was going to study Physics and Chemistry along with Maths.
#220 That's kind of a hard question for me as, when I'm at work, I live at my workplace so I try to have as many of the creature comforts of home in my cabin. Alongside a ship's equipment television which is connected to a simple satellite television system, I usually have a laptop and a couple of external hard drives with television programmes and films on it. I also take an e-reader and make use of the ship's library (though that is usually abysmal).

Wowhead is how I keep myself from being bored at work.

219: Either physics or biology. I really enjoy the theory of physics, particularly quantum physics and astrophysics, but I suck at the math. With biology, I love evolutionary biology, genetics, and zoology.
220: I doodle when I'm bored in class. I also write little blurbs in my journal.

If the manager isn't in I'll sometimes sneak out the back and check my phone. I rarely have much time though; I work in food service so it's always go go go. If I get a second, I'll pour myself a soft drink from the post mix machine.

#222- What have you checked off your bucket list so far?
If you don't know, the bucket list is the list of things you'd like to do before you die. Many people have exotic places they want to go, goals they want to accomplish, daring or amazing things they'd like to try, etc.

Q221 - What trait/habit/ would you like to borrow from fictional character?
I'd want Gandalf's wisdom.
#222- What have you checked off your bucket list so far?
Seeing Foreigner, STYX, REO Speedwagon, and Boston in concert.
Edit: And going to the UK. But going back is definitely on that list.

221. Probably always finding the correct solution like House.
222. Well, if I had to make a retroactive one, seeing half of Paris in a day, seeing the Taj Mahal and being driven around in the back of an ambulance.

I only really have one main "bucket goal", though more are sure to appear in my mind eventually, and that's an Olympic medal. I'm not there yet.

221: Batman's relentless determination.
222: I don't have a bucket list, but I've done a few things that people might consider putting onto theirs. I've seen all five Great Lakes, and I've been swimming in Lake Superior. I've seen Niagara Falls from both the American and the Canadian sides. I've been to Washington D.C. and seen all the relevant monuments and historical sites there. But, there are also a bunch of things that I've never done that people seem to do quite a lot. For example: despite only living a few hours away from one, I've never seen an ocean.
