QOTD Thread #332- Do you think that people should keep cats outdoors?

Had my MSN account hacked once, by someone at my secondary school. He offered to sell it back to me, but I just made a new one - lesson learned (not to the level of rankorr though).
My parent's PC tends to be infected by a million viruses every time they ask me to help with something though, because they insist on using IE to browse scam sites or switching off NoScript and then the browser gets hijacked. My dad actually spent $100 on a blatantly obvious scam.

What the heck do they do? Go to gambling sites and stuff? o.0.

They probably keep trying to claim those I-Pads and gift cards they keep winning.

I've never been hacked, that I'm aware of.

#180- Have you ever been hit on/propositioned when it was really inappropriate? Not that what they said was inappropriate in it's content, but because it was someone married, or in a relationship, or your boss or at a funeral, or something? How did you react?

I can't say that I have to be honest and I've always tried to be more than aware of the situation when I hit on someone else and make sure that it's appropriate.

Unfortunately all the time at work. Usually I can be pretty snidey back and they get the idea, but there have been times where my boss has had to intervene because the person was getting out of hand.

Can't say I really know. Girls have tried to hit on me all through high school though.

I'm thick as a board, so I have no idea if people have been hitting on me or not.

Some guy wrote a flattering comment on a pic my dad uploaded and the comment disappeared, not sure if the guy or my dad deleted it.
Also in clubs I've had guys ask me where I was born and stuff like that, I've thought nothing of it and my friends come and rescue me.
As a rule, I don't ask people out. Any interesting stories on your behalf Elhonna?
Oh and my dad emailed some guy with the same name as a guy in his law class (literally firstnamelastname@hotmail.com), expecting he'd find him. The guy responded with a website-nbc.com (phishing scam, poorly disguised site name claiming to be business news). He followed the link and ponied up. In fact, he told me I should join too, which is how I found out.

Not really. I'm not the type of guy that gets hit on at all.

@ Gamer - I have a bunch, actually. I had a guy offer me $1000 to go up to his room when I worked at a hotel, I had a guy ask me to leave my post and go hang out with him at the casino at that same hotel (which would totally be against the rules), a couple of guys who I know had girlfriends, one guy who was married. And I'm sooooo not flirtatious unless I'm meaning to be- I'm snarky, and I'm friendly, but I don't feed into them at all.
I generally ignore it and hope it stops, until it becomes blatant and then I shut them down.
EDIT: To clarify, I'm not even especially cute, or anything. I do not owe these phenomenon to anything brag-worthy on my part. I just seem to attract dirtbags at random. (Ok- I'll leave the guy who wanted me to go to the casino out of the dirtbag category- that was just not a reasonable thing but he was nice enough).

Elura should do this the whole time they're talking to her, and then they'll leave quickly.

I wouldn't say innappropriate, but awkward. And at times I've gotten hit on by boyfriends friends, while I was with said boyfriend. Strange behavior.
Everytime someone comes up to me at the streets to hit on me I just die a little inside. I don't want to talk to anyone ever, can't you see that on my face?:(

You should have some set responses that, while not rude, will confuse them enough to give you a break in the conversation so you can escape. Examples would be:
1) "Oh how funny- I was just thinking of tomato sauce too."
2) "I like how punctual your socks are."
3) "Have you seen my Pikachu- he tends to chase pop-tarts, so I know he's here."

Didn't want to edit an old post but I have just remember that I was once being hit on by a certain young lady (who was notorious in the local band world for that sort of thing) whilst at a band social event. Luckily the fiancee of one of my friends came to the rescue as try as I might I just couldn't put the girl off without being rude, which I try to avoid at all costs

Yesterday while I was walking into the gas station, a skuzbucket said "Hey baby those heels make your ass look FINE!" Why do men think that being that incredibly blunt and rude will get them laid? Boggles my mind.
There was this one time where my boyfriend and I were both hit on by the same guy while out having drinks. It was awkward o_o
