A movie about Heaven with Robin Williams. It's almost exactly what you described.

Non existent so I can finally fade away.
As I've mentioned before, I don't want to exist forever.
Bear in mind though that if you designed Heaven, you could make it infinite - where every day is a new adventure or something. You could discover new things every day and still have seen nothing.
But I would still be around forever.
Which is something I don't want to do.

Why do you want to be a frog?
FUN FACT: Male frogs deposit their sperm onto eggs that have already been laid by the female. You want to be reincarnated into a Forever Alone species.

I would have each person able to have their own "world", by themself. They could do whatever they wanted with it, without affecting other souls. Be whatever they want. Then there'd be a large center, where you could communicate with other souls. Like a giant gathering, without the potential of violence or anything of that nature. In said center, you are unable to hurt others. Every day you would have to make a choice.
Stay: Continue your heavenly experience for the day
Reincarnate: Reincarnate as a good person (with no idea where you'll end up or how your life will go)
End It: Simply cease to exist.
I've never really thought about this before this topic. Thanks OP :D
This sounds perfect to me. That way, no matter what, everyone gets what they want, providing they've earned their passage into the place, of course.
I'd add a few features, of course.
This Heaven, aside from the choices you have to make, is frequently "advertised" to the denizens of this universe, as to provide incentive to do acts that would earn them their "wings".
It would certainly cut down on the horribleness of this universe. I mean, why do bad in a limited time, when you can be good, and then completely destroy your world on day to day basis after you've passed on?
After transcending, you can choose to pass on with full memory of your life/lives (if you've chosen to reincarnate). These memories only last while you're in Heaven, though, but they may prove interesting to deal with.
I'd also add the ability to pool together "worlds" with other people, for however long you'd like, providing all parties agree to it.

Well I was more or less thinking about having the combined worlds so souls who knew each other, say from a past life, could spend time together, but that sounds awesome too, haha.

Kris- you need to go see "What Dreams May Come" too. Such a good movie.

Of course it is, it has Robin Williams in it. I'll have to find it so I can watch it with Rose, hehe :)
Edit: Actually I think I may have seen it before. Does it end with him and his love starting life over?
Edit2: Actually, maybe I haven't, but it reminds me of something I've seen before, I believe...

I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk
By Your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When Your face
Is before me
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel
Will I dance for You Jesus or in awe of you be still
Will I stand in Your presence or to my knees will I
fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all
I can only imagine
I have always felt that this song had one error in the lyrics. Personally,
I can't even imagine
what Heaven will be like.

Non existent so I can finally fade away.
As I've mentioned before, I don't want to exist forever.
Although I haven't explicitly said it on these forums before, I feel the same way. However long I live on earth is enough, If I ever want to visit my idea of a perfect place, I can do that while lucid dreaming, while I am still alive.

Atik, ur post makes me want to cut my brisk and disappear into nothingness.
i want to live forever, and reincarnate into a chicken on a free range farm. i can lay eggs, and feed the people who take care of me.
after my duty as a chicken, i'll be a cat.
then a dog.

No offense, but I would totally be the dog before the cat.
Dogs are all chill and mellow and loving. Cats are fat and full of themselves and such.
Would definitely help you appreciate the cat more.

i wouldn't mind the heaven in the christian bible.
walk with jesus with the multitudes and walk to water to water and drink from it.
not bad
or being reincarnated as a dragon. i'll burn villages, take their gold and have my fountains of treasure in my cave.

All pleasure centres in the brain switched on, all pain centres switched off. For everyone (universal salvationist). I have no issue with the lack of free will or "challenges". I don't believe free will exists and I take a Utilitarian rather than a deontological or technological approach. The one philosophical objection I recognise is that of qualia: would we be the same people if our personalities were overriden into a unitary bliss state? Boredom is merely a function of our brain.
