How long did it take? Walking alone I could probably knock that over in 6 hours, but with a mother to slow me down I'd imagine it'd take considerably longer...

#125- What do you do when the power goes out? Like when there's a storm, or maybe if you have an irresponsible roommate who doesn't mail the check in time. How do you pass the time?

Something like this.
Once when the power went out I went to a nearby Chinese restaurant and the power there was out too. I was like DERP could have thought of that.

Nowadays I go start up the generator, because we're totally prepared like that. :)
You should make a character on Nazjatar- we have a really active guild again. Loads of old content, 2 raid teams clearing DS with some heroic modes, and Meredyth and Nether came back to the game. Or at least take the vent info :P

Probably should have said that almost every single power blackout in my city happens very late at night, and never lasts for over an hour.

Cry until it goes back on. Or sleep.

Last night our power went out for about an hour. We looked our flashlights, and discovered that while there were batteries in them, there weren't any spares that fit anything useful. Then I went around with lit candles, and put the brightest ones in the rooms we were using. Then Boyfriend rearranged them so the nicest smelling ones were in the rooms we were using- lol.
Then, we hung out in the dark and discussed whether the noises made by passing cars were normal, or if it was Cthulhu or the monster from Cloverfield, or something. We discussed zombie survival strategy as well, though because there were no screams or sirens we figured it was pretty safe.
This is what we do when the power goes out :/

That's surprisingly non-sexual.

It was only out for an hour. And it was after 10 and I had work in the morning.

My sister and I do similar things when the power's out (my mum always seems to be at work when power goes). MAYBE SHE IS THE CULPRIT. Although we use a lighter instead of candles because that's much more classy. Every sound becomes a slasher murderer trying to kill us and my cat becomes Ghostface VI. We also do x vs y (like, who would win out of... and ...)

Freak out then read a book.
Doesn't happen that much, though. Maybe once a year or less.

Depends on when the black out occurred in my life lol: Before handheld gaming systems came out, just read. After they came out, play on that for a while and use it as an alternate light source. And usually listen to whatever portable music player I have at the time(iPod currently).
