Can you link an example? Haven't seen that one before but it does sound creepy!(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##perculia##DELIM##

Known issue we're working on: classic character models don't load, and selecting that option in the Profiler loads another copy of the Warlords model.

After about four re-loads of the model viewer in one window it will crash the current window. This is a huge pain in the butt, its crashing on both chrome and safari. It's like it gets progressively slower each reload (for instance I'm building an xmog set and it reloads the character each time I add an item).

Thanks for the feedback, we'll try to take a look soon. We didn't intend for the modelviewer to load faster across most parts of the site but crash on the Equipment Set tab since lots of people like it.

All of the non-outcast type Arakkoa models are the same except for feather color. They all show the same armor, no matter which type of Arakkoa NPC is selected. Is there a default version or a way to set it to default "nude"? I'm trying to see feather patterns and markings.
This is one of the kinds I am talking about:

Also getting occasional crashes in Pale Moon (Firefox fork) after some number of model viewer loadings. Thank goodness for session back-ups, eh? :-P Looks great when it's not imploding my browser though. Heh...

Can you specify what sort of pages are causing the crash? Regular database pages, if you have multiple tabs open, browsing via the listview, or the profiler? I forgot to update it here, but we did fix the issue about the Profiler Equipment Set so that shouldn't be causing crashes anymore.

As an update, the default male dwarf has a less impressive beard so you can see more of his chest armor--I know this has been a very old request :)

An issue I've had is my computer freezing for 30+ seconds if I open 5+ profiler tabs at the same time (to sync them all with battle.net). My laptop's specs are overkill, so it's not an "old machine issue".
I've not worked with HTML5 so I don't know if this is just a part of some known limitation; if not, maybe there's a memory leak or data from multiple tabs being stored in the same place without being isolated, i.e. different tabs' data overlapping and causing crashes?

When doing previews with the model viewer, it keeps randomly not rendering portions of the armor having the armor display as the base skin color.

Can you provide some examples? We've had one other report and I noticed it soon after the modelviewer got a revamp, but not since then. Thanks!

one example:
Leggings of the Bloodless Knight
it wont load properly for me. the upper part of the legs remain as skin tone.

I haven't been able to load any models in Firefox for some time. Think it might be these errors:

http://wow.zamimg.com/modelviewer/meta/character/humanmale.json
. (Reason: CORS header 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' missing).1 <unknown>

. (Reason: CORS request failed).1 <unknown>

It turns out this issue was caused by an addon called
HTTPS Everywhere
. I disabled it from handling WoWHead and that fixed 3D model loading.

Turns out that some requests were also being blocked by the Easylist filter "/doodads/*", which I reported to them on their
forums
. A fix was committed so this issue is now resolved.
Just a heads up to anyone using it :)

A few other things I've noticed:
WebGL is tried first, with fallback to Flash.
The NoScript option Embeddings->Forbid WebGL seems to be a global on/off switch instead of being for untrusted sites as the UI implies; with it ticked the Flash modelviewer is used even when wowhead/zamimg are whitelisted.
The Flash modelviewer works fine due to an exception filter allowing object-subrequests to zamimg.com from wowhead.com, which ironically just got removed (see above :D)

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I was wondering if it was possible for us to remove the WoWHead logo in the background?
With WoW Model Viewer not working correctly currently, it would be great for some animation capture + graphics content that I occasionally do regarding my own character.

As a general update for the viewer, Tier 19 and Legion PvP is now supported in the Legion Dressing Room and on individual site pages. There appears to be an issue that shoulders are not rotated correctly, and we are seeing if this is an issue on our end or Blizzard (the recent helm issue was on Blizzard's end).
