I usually play armored knights in RPGs. I like to go the chivalrous route. In other words, Paladins! :D
I really like to play as a caster, any kind and any game, because it feels like something mystical, charming and really powerful. Being able to handle the world's materia and physics with just a spell or incantation and to see its results creates inside of me a thrilling feeling that makes me want more and more. That and the fact about bending the elements to my will... just epicly awesome!
I am almost always be a rogue or something with dual wield just because smashing faces with 1 weapon is not enough.
My favorite class are Casters/Mages. And I will create one in Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning as well. :)(But I also like thiefes and stealthy rogue chars with fast daggers.)
Tank or ranged DPS - i'll usually make one of each. I really enjoy being able to stand in the front and take a beating from several mobs, the illusion of "god mode" is kind of fun. And the ability blast mobs away by the backlines, or nuke them all in waves = power overwhelming. :D~Teth
I play literally everything. I tend to go for casters first because it's just too much fun setting stuff on fire and whatsoever. After that I go for the full heavy armor melee DPS and kill everything on my path.In the end I pick whatever random class I can find and just play through the story, although this game will be different hehe :).
Most of the time i play a warrior, sometimes a mage, and in wow i play a DK, sorta a mix of the two, so i might choose magic and warrior mx in Kingdoms of Amalur when i get it
A mage, and an elven mage if possible! If only because it lets you play with the very fundaments of the universe itself, and flashy fireballs are a perfect way of disposing of irritating foes. I don't play the sissy mage type though; rather, a war wizard or warlock.
I prefer hybrids. Tank/controller types. I like to be in the fray and able to control and manipulate the flow of battle.
Usually go for the rogue/assassin if possible. Though I do like to mix things up sometimes and play a Heavy Armor/Greatsword combo, usually a paladin or death knight of some sort.
I typically play classes that wield two weapons and have a knack for many different skills, like rangers and hunters. I took to the Hunter class in World of Warcraft very easily, but now wielding two weapons isn't a very good option (and will not be a factor at all in MoP), so I am a little sad. Also, I understand the current distinction, but I would rather have hunters and rangers be more of a warrior class than a rogue class, which is the case in Kingdoms of Amalur.
Since I started RPGs (1970s!) I've been playing mages mostly. RPGs have come a long way.
I always play a caster/healer. It's because I can think what to do next whule i'm casting.
