I quite enjoy playing rogue type classes, being nimble with quick attacks. Also delve into casting from time to time aswell, but I always try to be good to others. :D
If I can play a druid, I'll usually try that out, but depending on the game's idea of a druid I might not like how that works out. I almost always play some sort of ranged DPS, though, if I can't play a druid.
Healer keeping others alive as they kill stuff or a ranger taking out enemies from afar. I guess I just don't like getting up close and dirty. lol
Healing!
i always end up playing an caster/healer type, or both if theres an class like that. i really dont like the hole "in your face" deal with melee classes, much better overview you have if your standing abit further back.
I usually play a rogue type class. Being able to sneak and pick locks/pockets is a good thing.
I usually play a ranger (or hunter for wow). Something that keeps me at a range while being able to do nice amounts of damage.
Dirty, crooked thieves. Stealth FTW.
Evoker (mage) ;)
I usually play a mage in RPGs but it depends on what kind of RPG it is.
In WoW, I have three characters that are 85. They are all cloth wearers. I do enjoy a good caster, but in Diablo II, I enjoyed the Barbarian more than the Sorceress. It really depends on the game. I did two playthroughs of the Kingdoms of Amalur demo, one as a rogue, and one as a caster, and I enjoyed the rogue quite a bit more, so that'll be my first character.
mostly warriors sometimes mage
In solo RPGS, I tend to play a mage/caster class, and in multiplayer ones I tend to play healers.
I usually play the physical ranged class, such as a hunter.
I usually play the warrior/fighter class
I usually find myself playing a caster-mage type, but I sometimes make 'em a battlemage (mage in plate armour, with melee weapons). From the Amalur demo, though, I think I may find myself playing a Warrior-Rogue first, though. Stealth and melee in that game are very visceral.
I must say have played most type, as i like to play through a game more then once and then i tend to choose different classes to see what fun things they have. As i have played the demo already i know i will probably first go for a rogue as do like the idea that you can sneak past enemies and stuff like that.Of the three beginning classes mage was a bit harder as i tended to run out of healing potions :).I might try to make a character with all 3 classes to see how it works in this game.
