When it comes to WoW, I prefer hunter, priest(shadow), mage and warrior(arms). On Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age 2, Infiltrator and Rogue respectively.

I usually like to play ranged classes. Magic or physical damage isn't too important.
I usually play a hybrid tank/heal class, like being in the action no matter what
I am usually a caster. Wizard, Mage, Warlock, etc.
Usually any Melee class, rogue type if I'm new at the game
If it's possible, I always play a combination of rogue/mage, with more rogue than mage. If not, pure rogue. Then, on 3rd place comes mage. I don't like playing warrior-like classes. I have always enjoyed sticking to the shadows, nobody every knowing I was even there if possible, with the occasional spell to help toward my goal as a ghost of shadows. The only game I ever enjoyed playing as a warrior was Skyrim. But I still ended up playing as a pure mage there. Rogue-like builds seems kind of all work and no fun to me in there. All in all, I save and then replay a certain part of the game until I get it perfectly. I think I have OCD. Also, rogue-like classes help in achieving that type of gameplay for me best. Or I just read too many Salvatore books and I have Drizzt engraved into my soul.TL;DR - A combination of rogue/mage or pure rogue..
I enjoy playing most caster classes, especially support classes if the game has multiplayer. If a game has a healer... that's me. I prefer holy magic over nature magic. If I'm playing solo, I'll use a mage type character. If I can stay out of melee range and make monsters explode in either holy sparkles or fire, what's not to like...?
Damage dealer ranged is my usual roll
Always a healer :)
I mostly play caster! pew pew!
I min-max and I'm a completionist :DEverything must be done!
Paladin. My user name wasn't a giveaway, was it? :-)Oddly enough, I don't find non-clerical fighters anywhere near as appealing, and if for some reason Paladins don't exist or are implemented boringly in a particular game (hello, Diablo II) then my fallback position is actually a mage. Strange that two apparently diametrically opposed classes would be my top two...
