Channeling magic is one of my best skills. I am a healer by nature but also thirst for the chance to wield the dark side of destruction. Mostly I find myself at war within myself as to which role I will play in the epic battle. If you haven't guessed I'm actually a Wizard. They will sing songs of my deeds in battle for generations to come. Forward any questions to my email.
I usually play warrior. This way I can smash my way through fights like a maniac but be the wise guy in conversations.
I always play a warrior type in any RPG (They are always Dwarves if i'm given the chance). I prefer getting right up into the action, wearing heavy plate mail and i ALWAYS dual-wield.
I usually play as a Warrior class type, no matter if going to be Tank or Damage Dealer.I love being IN the battle, rather than staying aside. I think there you can see who is experienced or not.The time you stick onto your opponent and kick his ass right before his group... flawless. And it is so divine when you do it with with your big as hell swords, not with a fire magic coming from your hands!
I like to play PvP melee-caster type for the diversity it offers. As like a shaman in WoW or maybe as a Witch Doctor in the future D3 you find that diversity that keep u hanging...these are classes that usually dont form the group of 1-2-3 spam button like a warrior or a rogue could do but using the variety of spells and abilities for future progress in PvP and maybe PvE depending on the player :)
I almost always play Tank/Melee builds. Love being able to rush and just start tankin and spankin!
I'm usually some sort of melee dps, but I do enjoy trying out a caster every once in a while.
I've been playing RPGs for at least 10 years now, and i can say with confidence that i have tried almost every class archetype there is. Despite that, i have always found myself leaning towards tanky melee dps(or what you can call the warrior archetype). I like the idea of being durable and protected by heavy armor, yet still being able to dish out heavy damage.
I've had fun trying all the different classes WoW has to offer, but time after time I come back to my casters, particularly my Warlocks. I love the Lock because she works well in groups if that's what I want, but she's great for soloing, too.
I usually play melee classes. Thanks to WoW, I can play a tank classes very well and I tend to be good with them.
In any RPG I tend to go towards the Hybrid style, so a mix of melee and magic, kind of like an enhancement shaman in WoW. Just love having the diversity.
I almost always grab the Warrior class. Being big and burly always seems to work best for me in RPGs, in case I'm forced to go without my party, I can live through it. Also I like swinging huge swords.
I typically like hybrids. Something with a little melee and magic, or arcane archer... something with a little flavor to go with the head cracking.
I am all about min/maxing, and from game to game I feel it's always about recognizing the combination of abilities each archetype has in its arsenal. Personally, I focus on downing enemies before they can respond as a ranged damage dealing class, but I always carry or store items and gear for any situation, especially in the advent of being able to respecialize characters on a whim.
