I tend to go towards healers. I just like it.
Melee, preferably dual wielding swords.
I usually play a magical ranged damage dealer, like a Mage in WoW or a Sage in SWTOR. I like to hang back and kill stuff from across the room.
I usually play warrior classes or some other melee 2handed DPS class

If its a single character RPG Ill play caster/melee type. Depending on the game either a paladin type or a spellthief. If its one where you have multiple characters Ill develop the defensive caster first.
I love playing archer/hunter classes. :)
I usually play a healer. If that role is already taken or not available really I tend to go for the caster dps type.
Ranger i don't know why it's just what i enjoy playing, i prefer to bring them down from afar.
I normally play a caster of some sort, damage dealing preferably (I have a thing about fire it seems - fire mage in wow, bright wizard in WAR, elementalist in GW...), though if theres an option to dual-skill casting and melee I usually give that a shot ^_^
Ranged or archer, but after playin the demo I might go rogue :D
Normally a dual wielding stealthy character
I generally play different classes, only real rpg Ive played is wow tho. So i guess assassin and mage caster.
Most times I play a melee dps occasionally though, I'll play a tank or ranged dps.
It depends, I usually just play a warrior or a rogue class so I can just do some mindless killing the first time I play it and then I replay the game to try out other paths and other classes.
