Thoughts? This looks as if it is already improving relations between N. Korea and the Western world.
Edit: wrong article

Yep, saw that about 20 minutes ago.
I disagree that it's going to improve relations - Kim Jong Eun isn't exactly fond of the West either, from what I understand.

How the regime in Pyongyang will react over the next few days will most likely set the tone for regional relations for the next year--provided it does not escalate to war.
My thoughts exactly. He set himself as a god where no one or being was above him. Many believed he was a god.
And now their god is dead.

Seriously though, the death of a dictator is
always
a good thing.
I'm not sure I can unconditionally agree with that...

Indeed; only time it's a good thing is when his cabinet and generals were scared @#$%less of said dictator; if they weren't, and in fact were working hand in hand with him well.....as for the heir: For all we know, he's the mini-Kim and will just pick up the reins and keep doing the same thing....and if he's not, well, if those generals and cabinet members decide they don't want to follow him, and decide to stage a coup/revolt, we could be seeing nukes flying around, depending on who has the codes.
