I started with the idea that I'd play both this and EQ2, and keep WoW up for holidays and such. But...I just haven't had the urge to log in anywhere else. I'm cancelling EQ2 this month, and would have let WoW lapse if I wasn't signed on for a year. I probably won't play anything else until Mass Effect 3 comes out (unless you count me finishing up Mass Effect 2 playthroughs for import).

This game is bad and you should feel bad for playing it.

at first I imagine it will be impossible to play anything else, considering how story-driven this game is, but at some point you will have 1 of each character at max level, and then, is when an MMO grows stale.
I do plan to play both this and wow, simply because MMOs tend to have dead months where all you can do is wait for the next patch.
so it would go like this:
I'd buy a 60day gamecard for world of warcraft when a new patch is released, play for 2 months, in those 2 months i'd have enough time to grind any new dailie hubs, do any new 5mans, and do any new raids on the LFR till I'm sated.
once those 2 months expire, I would then buy a 60day card for SWTOR, and do the same, play, do flashpoints, operations, grind, when those 60 days are over back at wow they "should" had relased a new patch (They always take about 4 months) so I go back to wow for 2 months, then back to SWTOR for 2 months and so on.
The hard part will be the initial rush, as getting 8 characters to lvl 50 isn't exactly fast.
As for that other MMO I was playing (Lineage II) I decided its not worth it, most of the reasons why I retired from that game in the first place are still there, and wont sink more of my time playing it.
For the time being, I'm just enjoying wow, I got enough pre-paid time till february 26th, once that gametime is expired, I'll just take a break from MMO's since 12 days later, Mass Effect 3 will be out, and that WILL keep me busy for at least 2 months (I know that ME2 kept me busy for almost 3).
After I'm sated of ME3 I plan on buying SWTOR (Should have enough money by then, I've been saving 100k bolivares each month since november) and play SWTOR till MoP is out.
by then I think I should had enjoyed the storylines of all the classes, and then my plan of playing each game for 2 months will be ready.
(Yes I like to plan my future a lot >.> not just in games, I tend to plan EVERYTHING I will do for the next 3 months in advance)

agreed.
No game is bad, its the players that make them so. From a technical PoV, MW2 was a great game, but any fun to be had in there was ruined by how HORRIBLE the players are in there. I tried it at my cousin's house, got called 6 different racial slurs before I decided that I don't need to take that crap from others.
So neffy, play nice. don't be a jerk.

What a ridiculous statement. This game is about as terrible as it gets from an objective standpoint and to even prove your point further, the players who pay for this absolute piece of #$%^ are above and beyond the worst fanbase in video games. Biodrones such as yourself are what is wrong with everything in the industry these days, for a few reasons:
Welcoming the casualizing of content to the point where tank and spank encounters are quite literally tank and spank.
ACTUALLY LIKING AND, get this, WANTING MORE of the stupid and often ridiculous Hamburger Hepler tier romance stories.
Endorsing the fact that this game is 'hurr immersive gud story' even though this has the worst dialogue and writing I have ever seen, even for video game standards.
Playing a $%^&ing MMO as a SINGLE PLAYER RPG and SUPPORTING the fact that you play the game this way.
Other reasons that are more individualistic such as wanting to pay a higher monthly fee, disregarding class balance, and lying.
Other examples of your kind:

Not to mention this game spent over 300 million in development for this and THEY WILL NEVER BREAK EVEN. It already has a falling playerbase not even two months from the release.
Whatever. Enjoy justifying good games by how "fun" they are, and not how if they are actually good or not by their actual elements.
Fake edit: This looks like a troll post... oh well.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##This is a wholly inappropriate post. The fact that you resort to almost nothing but ad hominem makes your point weak and the content unacceptable. I'm sending a warning email for inappropriate behaviour.

blah blah blah
I've never seen someone campaign so hard against a game. Do you still play it? If not, why are you still stuck on it?
Eh... I'm gonna stop there as most of your post just seems to be regurgitated complaints from /r/gaming which in turn is regurgitated from /v/. (Biodrones? Really?)
That being said, I'll leave you with
this
.
Hope the sore bum heals over the next few days. D:
Edit: Haha. I just opened up my fortune cookie after writing this post.

A thought occurs:
Generally at each planet there's a mod and an equipment commendations vendor. But the equipment vendors often sells artifact gear which is full of mods. Could I save a ton of commendations by buying the artifact gear and taking all the mods out? Assuming I wanted to buy mods, of course.

asakawa
Well an Armouring, Mod and Enhancement would cost 11 commendations which is around the cost of a piece anyway and there's a credit cost to pulling mods that really does get considerable (30k to pull a mod from a lv50 purple). Personally, unless there's something specific on an equipment vendor I defaulted to spending my commendations on mods though there's several exceptions.
