Wowhead Client "Could not process update list"

I've been having trouble off and on with the Wowhead client. I've downloaded it again to see if there was a new version that fixed things. I've checked a few things and the only thing I can think of is that the Wowhead servers are down (or busy). Can we have a Realm Status page for the Wowhead client?
I've been searching and haven't found a straightforward answer.

Seeing the same error here on 32-bit Win XP, followed by the client immediately exiting.

I had to install the .net framework tonight, and maybe that's what caused it, but on a 64 bit system running windows 7, i keep getting that error message too. That honk is getting annoying because I listen to those messages and "Try again later". :) assistance would be appreciated in great heaps of happiness.

I am getting this as well, rebooted my computer and when it started I get the same message.
too many people getting the error, for it to be a pc issue. has to be on the server side.

I am also getting the same error message. I have tried deleting the client completely and re-downloading it, but I still get the same error message. I am running Windows 7 64-bit. Any help to resolve this would be much appreciated.

Yeah won't help running as admin. The only time you need to run as admin is when you're trying to update the client in a secure location (such as your c: drive). Instead this is a server-side error. Basically the way I understand it is when the client starts up it tries to contact "client.wowhead.com" for the patch information. Since that is currently down (i.e. it redirects to the wowhead site instead of the wowhead client site and the page for the update file is unavailable), it leads me to conclude the server is down. Also the error message "Could not process update list" supports this claim. So just give it some time.

Same problem here.
Worked fine yesterday, but not today. No changes on my system in between.
Each time i start it, it says "Could not process update list."
I re-downloaded the client from the website.
Even deleted all settings in Programdata\Wowhead\ , and deleted the '+Wowhead_Looter' addon. Still the same response from the client exe.
Running in Administrator mode had no effect either.
I'm assuming its a server issue on their side.
Update: Tried it just now and it works again.

Confirmed same issues as reported above, Win7x64, been working perfectly for ages stopped working today. Even a fresh download of the client is giving same error.

Pointing Aryu to this thread. He should be able to offer input to why it's doing this (since it seems inconsistent as to why it did this in the first place).

It was a DNS issue, should be fixed now.

Yeah it was; had the issue last night but when I used the client at around 1:30pm(it's nearly 3pm now) worked just fine.

Ya it was fixed but now it's still bringing up this error again.
Maybe someone can point out the fixes for this?
