is a lot of work but you should add the option for male and female on the browse page, cause for example with tank set, for female they are tank tops, and they look really diferent from the male ones.Besides that, amazing feature guys!
Also for Heirlooms, it loses the Transmog appearance if you mail it off to another toon.
Fantastic feature--thank you thank you thank you!One thing I hope that you guys can add is the "matching" sets from quests in the revamped lowbie zones. There are some great "sets" that clearly go together based on appearance that are typically quest rewards all from one zone or from two zones in the same level range. For example, there's a red leather set in the 40s with a very cool collar and feathers that was added in Cataclysm. The hard part is that the items don't share a name or anything. Generally the icons, though, have similar features, like a red glow around all the items.Anyway, no criticism, just a suggestion! Great tool.
Amazing work! I just noticed two things as I perused for my druid:Vicious Gladiator's Refuge... oh my. I don't know what's wrong, but it should probably be fixed.Wildheart recolor is actually a Feralheart recolor, as Wildheart covers the female stomach and Feralheart does not. :)Thank you for all that you do!
Right.
I already suspected this from one of your comments on a blog entry some two weeks ago :P I had already started to gather the Cataclysm quest 30-60 sets, which were at least easier to find than other quest sets, or even BoE ones with no "set name" :P Anyhow, I kinda lost motivation after Cloth and Leather, glad you did not falter as I did, and went the whole, whole way ;)Sorting for the Gallery view would be nice, including a "similar set" sorting criterium. Also, I expect you will have links to these sets on the individual item pages soon :)
Massive kudos to you! This is an excellent tool. However, I would suggest you guys do a little more thinking about naming conventions and how they interact with tier set names. Example "Conquerer's Darkruned battlegear" is not near the "Darkruned battlegear (Recolor)". This makes it feel jumbled when scanning visually. I work with with organizing data sets, so I feel you on this being a hard problem. Anyway keep up the great work. Can't wait to see the rest of the features!/goes back to scanning through the sets
You...ErrrmmmmWow, I'm speechless. You did this with an extreme perfection.I don't know what to say, other then:Happy Transmogrifying, people.P.S: The second link on the Head-bar...thingy on every page doesn't work. It sends me to this awesome page:http://www.wowhead.com/Click%20here%20to%20read%20more%20about%20this%20new%20feature%20and%20future%204.3%20features%20we%20plan%20to%20add
Some things:
First off, amazing job. This is an amazing way to quickly find great looking sets, with all the information you'd need to know included! Great work Wowhead team! One little bug I found, was that the "Usable by" filter isn't properly working. If you set it to "Usable by Mage" for example, it will still list Warlock and Priest gear as well. And not just recolors, but actual PvP and Tier sets exclusive to those classes.
I'm amused by the all the names you had to come up for all the sets that aren't really sets. Like Frostsworn Bone MailOr the quest-matching-item-sets.
Oooh this new feature looks very fancy, and I'm sure it will come in handy for plenty of players. It's also quite good that you've uploaded it pre-4.3, gives people some time to farm and it also gives you guys a buffer before much more traffic to iron out any bugs or issues. Good job, wowhead people (since I hardly know most of the new generation (and that makes them sound like ponies or something))!
