Hallow's end is by far my favorite. I look forward to it every year. It has the best holiday boss and the best mounts! Who doesn't love the flying broom and the horseman mount? I only wish the broom was a permanent mount. =) The quests are fun and trick or treating for free stuff and gold/xp is great! It's always fun to open a handful of candy or the pumpkin loot bag. I really liked that they updated the quests and added loot vendors this year. The little wicker burning man and feline familiar are awesome additions to Hallow's End.
Let's see if posting one hour before the drawing time gets me any better chances. My favorite holiday is the Midsummer Fire Festival. I'm an altoholic and love leveling a new char with my wife, but our goal is always to get to max level with our latest pair. I love all of the quests you can do extinguishing and honoring fires. Oodles of XP, gold, and you can work on the exploration achievements. Plus, it's fun to fly/ride around Azeroth with my best girl at my side!
Halloween, why? it's so much fun! I just love the atmosfear and quests.
I love winter veil because even though my wow friends might be far away I still get to play with them in game and get to celebrate the holidays with them. Also pets! :D
Winter Veil Holidays are my most favorite time of the World of Warcraft year! I grew up in Kansas and appreciate the fun and the beauty of snow as well as the slushy downside of snow. Now I live in mid-Florida and we have no snow. So I completely enjoy the virtual snowscape without the (pardon me using this word) blizzards! I love gathering and tossing the pretty, virtual snowballs without freezing my fingers. I love having the little snowman I can set around and he never melts nor has grass and dirt stuck to him cuz the snowfall was light. I really, really like riding the reindeer with the jingling, ivy collar. Santa is so cute and my toons like to try to sit on his lap and request special gifts because they are always so good all year (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). I look forward to the tree of gifts--even virtual gifts are fun. The quests are fun! The decorations are pretty. To add to the overall cheer, many more of the players seem to be in pretty good moods so even play improves. Yay for Winter's Veil!
Either Hallow's End or Brewfest, hard to pick just one of them :o
I really like Winter Veil, mostly because I love Christmas so much irl :) And of course, presents!
my favorite holiday in World of Warcraft is defiantly Hallow's End. Why you might ask? Well, I have always loved the festivities of Halloween in our so called dimension and I love to see the same annual traditions (and then some!) take place in the wonderful world of Azeroth as well. I have fond memories of the first year of the headless horseman fights, for at the time it was an epic and unique battle, and his mount was( and still is) one the most desirable mounts in the game. When i won my Headless Horseman mount the second year i was ecstatic and it became my mount of choice on land and in air. I have always liked the putting out of the fires in the small towns, to me it was a community strengthening event, where only when everyone is working together will everyone succeed and be rewarded for their efforts. It was always a good feeling when everyone extinguished all the fires and popped the pumpkin head off of the horseman's shadow. I still look forward to Hallow's End every year. and this year it has come and gone, it has given me some wonderful new gifts that i will treasure and i look forward to next years spooktacular celebration!
Lunar Festival. Being a Druid, I appreciate the lore and welcoming everyone to Moonglade!
My favorite holiday is midsummer. I love the fires, I love the flaming gear, and more of all, I love the spirit of summer pet. But! every year, and I mean EVERY year, something comes up and I'm unable to do the midsummer festival. I've managed that pet I covet so much on only one toon. It drives me crazy.
My favorite is definitely Winter Veil. I first started World of Warcraft at the start of Winter Veil back in 2008. Also every player seems to be in a better mood not to mention all the generosity that goes around :)
I must say I love Winter Veil. The whole idea of Smokywood Pastures cracks me up. Yay over-commercialization!
