It may not have a meta achievement for it, but I think the Harvest Festival is the best one (and definitely the most touching).1. I make the "pilgrimage" to Grom Hellscream's tomb every year.2. I feel it is a time to think about others, not just oneself3. On a lighter note: you get free food!
I love the Hallow's End Holiday. Halloween is my favorite holiday in the world so getting to do something similar in WoW is just awesome.Plus the Horseman's voice is just wicked sounding
You know, a lot of people are going to say this, but HALLOWS END! Best holiday ever! It's different from every other holiday. It's dark, destructive and every year I see that awesome Headless Horseman mount and I WANT IT! I've tried so many freaking times! I just want that mount! GAH!Anyways, I don't know why alliance celebrate Hallows End, but I am glad they get a chance to. The reason I say this is because I read the tooltip in the calendar and it said that it celebrates the Forsakens break from the Scourage.Honestly I think Hallows End was better when you could trick or treat and you got the hour debuff, never knew what you were going to get :)I guess people just got mad that they would have that one last chance to finish their achievement and BOOM, you're a kitty! Haha XDSo I love Hallows End, I think it's very original and now every Halloween I think of the Headless Horseman :)
My favorite holiday is Hallow's End. I love watching Goldshire Burn!
Midsummer Fire Festival. It was the first holiday I was able to complete on any of my characters, and I remember just how proud I was when I took my 80 Death Knight (yes, I was one of those people) to extinguish all of the Alliance's fires in about an hour, with no deaths. To this day, "The Flame Keeper" is my favorite title on him, and my mage.
My favourate holiday has got to be Childrens Week. The experience of having a small little person running behind you who is the most content child ever is very satisfying for me, not even to mention all of the pets I can get from it! The achievements vary greatly and they just add a little spice into the holiday for me, as well as the rewards and other items you can get. My most memorable moment about Childrens Week is the first time I had the little Blood Elf orphan next to me. Being a massive Tauren, the size difference made me and a few of my friends giggle at the sight. The best bit? I can't wait 'till next year to get a whole new lot of pets! Yipee!
Brewfest definatly for me! I am secret dwarf inside and it was first ever event in WoW for me. It also helps me remember all the Oktoberfests I've been to, all the galons of beer i've....changed... into wee :D Good times :D
Imo the best one would be Halloween, is there anything better than scaring little children, while masked as the headless horseman? (pumpkin involved ofc) Wish we could do that more than once a year :/ !
My favorite holiday is of course Winter Veil, there's nothing like seeing Christmas trees and little snowball men run around SW and IF.
I LOVE Children's Week. Taking the orphans all over Azeroth is awesome.
Brewfest. It is a merry time for Horde and Alliance to slow down and drink!
