I love hallows end because I get to rage out when I don't get the mount.
Hallow's End for me. There's just so much to do in the game for the holiday and all of the costumes are sweet.
My favorite holiday would have to be Midsummer. The fires, the dancing and most of all, the epic runs into the opposite factions' cities to put their fires out. :) Also, one of my favorite in-game items is the neat looking crown you get.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?
Easily Hallow's End. DAT MOUNT@
I love Hallow's End! It found its way into my heart back in BC. I was lvl 34 and I was taken into the dungeon to kill the horseman. How meny other people do you know who can say the first time the killed the horseman they were below lvl 40?
Favorite holiday would have to be Hallow's End. Why? This holiday really has taken a beating in real life it seems. We were one of the few if not the only one on the street to celebrate it, so seeing the holiday done in game and so over the top makes me really happy. Gives me hope my favorite holiday isn't completely withering away. :)
Feast of Winter Veil is my favorite too. :) I think it is because I have good associations with the winter holidays, and I remember having so much fun as a child. The WoW version of the celebration makes me happy.
My favorite holiday event is Winter's Veil. I suffer with depression and season affected disorder and when I log on and see all the pretty lights and decorations and everyone having so much fun it makes my heart happy. Also, presents.
I absolutely love Brewfest. Not only do you get to experience the great music, fun, and semi-cultural twist of Oktoberfest, but you have a straightforward and somewhat funny holiday boss in Corin Direbrew. The loot is fun and collectible, no one can laugh at 2 mounts, a purple doom-sized brew mug, a broken bottle and the other gear that can be a huge boost to folks new to max-level characters. The remote is a wonderful item in and of itself as it allows players to skip part of an instance as well as enable L70ETC to have a private performance granting a 5 minute buff on a /cheer. The achievements for Brewfest alone are worth the time, but the addition of the large number of different food items in one small location makes attaining other achievements that much easier as well. Throw in very accessible dailies, a collectable offhand, a nice diversion from the daily grind, and a pet and Brewfest is by far one of the best, and my personal favorite, WoW holiday.
My favorite is Winter's Veil, cause it was the first i started in game and also the last one I completed to get my Violet Proto Drake!
My favorite Holiday has been, and will most likely still be Children's Week! It's(What else?) a week set aside for kids (If only it were real!) and you got to have an Orphan follow you around. While having the Orphan, they give you quests which made you go to some random places for you, but meaningful places for them. During the event, the quests you complete seem kinda petty and not exciting, but it makes one realize how important those things may have been to them as a kid. Not to mention you also get a pretty cool pet at the end of the quest chains! Unfortunately, you have to pick only one out of the three ;( But hey, that's just another reason to participate in the years to come playing WoW =)
The Day of the Dead. I don't care what anyone says, dancing as an undead is the best thing in the world!
