I love the Pilgrim's Bounty event best. All that food just makes me remember the meals my mother and grandmother used to cook on Thanksgiving. Plus, if I have a new character, I can level their cooking up at ludicrous, nay!, plaid speeds.
Brewfest, cuz it's fun to not be able to see and then go tank an instance.
Favorite holiday:BrewfestWhy does brewfest mean so much to me? Well simply when i just started this game i found out in the general chat that it was something going on outside Ironforge, a friendly mage teleported me there and first time i stepped out of the gate of ironforge and saw all theese tents, it was amazing. But thats not why it means alot to me, there was and is an event were you are supposed to use a Ram and run around with kegs.I was doing it every 12 hours just to get as many tokens as possible. There was a vendor next to the Ram tent selling those awsomely mounts and i thought from the first day that i need to get my hands on one of those. So every 12 hours i was doing the quest, i joined all events to get as many tokens as possible, and i think it was the last day i had enough tokens to be able to buy them. But since i only was lvl 40 and didnt have gold enough to buy them i begged every single player ingame, and a friendly guild m8 borrowed me almost all gold he had so i could buy the 60% ram, i even bought the 100% even though i couldent use it. That was one of the happiest days in wow for me, and this event still means alot to me. So thats why i go back there every year, to enjoy the fun of the brewfest. Drink beer and eat food.Even though brewfest is one of my happiest holidays in wow, it also comes with sadness. I was farming the LFG dungeon one year later to loot the Kodo mount, and the last day of the brewfest event i actually got it! I was rly cheered up and happy, but it didn't last to long, just a few mins later i heard that my granpa passed away. This event really means alot to me, good and bad things. But it will always be remembered.
Winter veil. Lots of presents (:
I don't really have any "favourite" holiday, but Hallow's End, Argent Tournament, Midsummer and Winterveil surely gives you a lot of tasks to complete. I personally haven't attended to Argent Tournament and Winterveil yet, but when I last checked, those were two of the holidays which had most achievements. But honestly, if I really have to pick one, Winterveil. Why? That's the time of the year when children gather and sing beautiful songs, as well as opening presents and eating candy canes. Winter can in many ways resemble peace, but in World of Warcraft it doesn't, unfortunately. I wouldn't mind being able to hang with Orcs and Blood Elves during this celebration, really. I mean, during Christmas 1914, the British and German soldiers gathered in truce, giving eachother presents. Why shouldn't the Alliance and the Horde be able to do so as well?Apart from that, Winter Veil is the time of the year when orphans of Azeroth comfort eachother and giving some respite from bad thoughts and memories.
Winter Veil, for two reasons. One....presents! Isn't that reason enough? Two...it was used as a ploy by my boyfriend to get me to play. Prior to starting WoW, I was strictly a Sims and Wii girl. The closest I'd gotten to a MMO was Second Life (cough.) Everything I knew about WoW did not seem appealing. A game where you just run around and kill stuff? Where's the fun in that? But he told me that there was more depth than that---and things that might appeal to me. His main example: holidays. Namely, Winter Veil. So I decided that a game where they decorated, handed out gifts of pets and toys, and have snowball fights couldn't be completely awful and gave it a shot. Here I am, years later still playing and still excited to see what the yearly gift will be!
Winter Veil. I love Christmas, and a season for it on WoW which is very fun is just amazing.
Hallow's End is the best because mask's and costumes! ( I wanna to say "because the mount", but i don't take it, again =/ )
My favorite holiday in Wow is Hallow's End.There are lots of reasons why I like this holiday and I am really sad that it is over last night. First of all, Hallowed Wands are so much fun like raiding as a skeleton, ghost, ninja or gnome makes it funnier. Because personally I get bored sometimes using same character model (same skill animations etc.) and Hallow's end makes it much more exciting with lots of different possibilities. Did I forget to mention about magic broomsticks? They are really cool on appearence (I get bored sometimes while riding a dragon :) and they are used instantly. An instant mount what could be better than this ? During last two weeks I didnt use anything else than these broomsticks. There are also lots of masks that you can use. My favorite is gnome female mask on my troll male character it looks so funny that everytime I look at my character's face I laugh so hard :) You can create lots of diffrent combinations by these masks.Headless horseman mount is awesome ( unfortunately I couldnt get it this year :( ) At least I could get which is one of the most beatiful companion in the game. As a last reason that I love this holiday is throwing pumpkins on other's head which reflects the spirit of holiday. I cant wait for next year for Hallow's end :)
Surely the best holiday is Pilgrim's Bounty,Every other Holiday is reflected into our real lives, and are surrounding us each year, however when do you get a holiday that you throw food at your friends?FOOD FIGHT! Best holiday EVER!
