I like brewfest the most. Drinking is funzor.
Hallow's End. I don't get to spend Halloween due to the area that we live in. It's really nice being able to actually spend it somewhere else. :)
My favorite holiday is without a doubt Children's Week. I love the quest lines - they flesh out parts of the world such as the Orphanage in Stormwind that just give the world so much more flavor. I also really enjoy the notion of being able to visit Dalaran and Shat to work through extra quests and gain additional companions. I quite often use Willy as a companion on my mage... being a Dungeons and Dragons (NWN) convert it really reminds me of the beholders that mages were able to have there as well.Hail to the King Baby is also a really cool achievement! The new companion options that were introduced for Children's Week - like Legs from the Outland Matron - are awesome. All in all Children's Week is simply a lot of fun and has some great rewards... despite the tendency for it to remind me of tragic moments in music history like "We are the world"... -cough-
I like hallows end cuz its the best.
Definitely Hallow's End! So many tricks and treats to be had! :]
My first major character was an Engineer, and my next shall be an Alchemist, so I shall deduce my favorite holiday...... WITH SCIENCE!Lunar Festival: meh.Love is in the Air: HAH! Right.... (<--- stereotypical single, nerd gamer)Noblegarden..... ugh.... (STOP STEALING MY EGGS!)Children's Week = no way, I hate kids IRL..... though the orphans in WoW aren't too bad, that Caverns of Time event was AWESOME!Midsummer Fire Festival..... THIS is the holiday when my leveling / adventuring partner went ACHIEVEMENT-CRAZY, so I pass....Pirate's Day. Arrrr, it be too easy me hearties! ... a DARN close second though....Harvest Festival I always got kinda confused with the Pilgrim's Bounty..... for some odd reason...Hallow's End. It WILL be if I win a prize! /wink (I kid, please don't ban me! T_T)Day of the Dead, though fun and not far off is simply too short for me to really LOVE..... I give it third place....Pilgrim's Bounty? I thought I did that already....? Well grinding cooking was easy and useful, but boring....Feast of Winter's Veil... I hate X-mas IRL as it is the day before my birthday (yes, really) so no thanks. So I suppose my #1 favorite WoW holiday has to also be my favorite IRL.....NEW YEAR'S!Despite all the curmudgeon-y things I said earlier, I think of myself as a bit of a romantic, and something about starting a whole, brand new year brings about feelings of hope and potential for great things in the next 365/364 days just brightens my day, and fills me with incredible optimism before reality comes crushing down on me in the coming days. Also, all the fun of fireworks with the option to change the volume up or down to fit your needs is nice too! There you have it, New Year's is my favorite holiday! Though I sincerely hope it will not be the last as the Mayan's calendars say, I still look forward to New Year's Eve and Day, 2012, and as I say every year, may it be a better one than the year before it!
Winter Veil, For the Happiness in Real life and Azeroth! Plus i love presents <3
