I've gotta say Brewfest is my favorite. Virtual drinking AND virtual drunkenness? CANNOT BE BEAT.
My fave event is is Hallows end cause i love flying around collecting the candy buckets and killing the headless horsman, plus you get some really cool companions and the headless horseman mount if your lucky :)
Classic Love is in the Air. The one that had love tokens you'd exchange with NPCs for gifts, cards, etc. I really liked how there weren't really many quests, but you still had tons you could do. Building up gift packages to give to faction leaders was fun, too. Not to mention, the outfits felt more like an accomplishment to get; especially the black dress. I'd look forward to it every year, then one year it came and was just a mess of dailies with currency. I felt ripped off. D:Of existing ones, my favorite would probably be Easter, because it still has a lot you can do. Even though it's just dailies with currency, it still feels fun.I'll also add that I think Hallow's End sucks now. I got all the candy baskets then was able to pretty much ignore the fact that it existed for 2 weeks.
Hallow's End. Simply because it mirror's my favorite festival in real life. Also, it was the last calendar event I finished up all of my achievements for World Achievments.
My favorite in-game holiday is Love is in the Air! I always love running around and seeing all the pretty decorations. The holiday boss is the most interesting to me with the colored perfumes & colognes you can wear, and the very rare Pink Love Rocket is so cute! Beyond those things, the whole atmosphere of it and the achievements related to it are very fun as well :). I love throwing rose petals on everyone, making charm bracelets and being able to give them to people, & the lovely dresses you can get, along with the cute flower that you can have in your mouth or hair depending on gender which still eludes me :P. I also love making my friends ride with me in the little loveboats that show up in the cities! It's tiny little details like that which I find super fun. It's just so cute all around and makes me feel very happy and lovey-dovey, not to mention there are candy hearts to give to people and two cute companion pets which make it even better! Even though I've done the achievements on multiple characters now it's still fun doing the Holiday every year :D.
My favorite Holiday is Winter's Veil. I love it because it's always charming, and because I started playing around that time. I hope the changes this year are good!
Probably 'Love is in the Air' since it's fun to do, there's a holiday boss, and you get the cologne and perfumes which are buffs that go on top of Food+Flask :D
I like Children's Week the most, simply because it is the time to obtain a lot of small pets and a chance to give orphans moments which they will never forget :) My little brother is an orphan, which my family took care of, so Children's Week is a special holiday for me :)
"What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?"My favourite holiday is Brewfest because everyone gets drunk and has fun ^^
My favourite holiday is Noblegarden. And I have a very good reason for this... Bunny ears. I can't wait until next year when I will go around getting bunny ears for all my alts, will be awesome as there are new colours coming. I already have a screenshot under spring circlet on wowhead.
I'm really having a hard time deciding which holiday is my favorite. The three up for first would be Hallow's End, Brewfest and Winter Veil. I love Hallow's End! The Headless Horseman is my favorite part, I think. I got his mount the first year, and I was so stoked! It's still the mount I use most often. too. I love the PvP it inspires when you go to trash the opposing faction's Wickerman, or stinkbomb their city. Who doesn't love trick-or-treating? And riding a magic broom? Heck yes! The general atmosphere of Hallow's End is awesome, the jack-o-lanterns, the cardboard cut-out skellies hanging all over, the candles everywhere. I love it!Brewfest is so immersive and exciting! Of course I'm a member of the Brew of the Month Club! The costumes are my favorite, the style is so great. The fights with the Dark Iron Dwarves! Brew-goggles! I carry my Pony Keg with me everywhere I go. I worked hard doing my dailies every day to get my ram that first year, and despite killing Coren Direbew at least a MILLION times, I still don't have that amazing kodo...The Feast of Winter Veil. I LOVE Christmas. And I LOVE the way the put it into the game in such a perfect way. Iron Forge during the holidays is so classic and beautiful. Saving Metzen and slaying the Abominable Greench! Throwing snowballs, making cookies and getting presents from under the tree! Getting turned into a Winter Veil gnome, or wearing a sexy holiday costume! Tis the season to be jolly! Fa la la la la la la la laaa!I just can't decide! I'll have to call it a tie :]*I have to edit this to add Children's Week. I know we're probably only supposed to post one favorite, but I can't help it. I'll keep it short. I love Getting a new pet during Children's week, and I love the adorable little kids. My favorite little orphan is Dornaa, she's so darn cute! I also love the more recent orphans, Roo and Kekek. So there we are, my four favorite holidays! Hallow's End, Brewfest, Feast of Winter Veil and Children's Week!
Winter Veil was always my favorite. Christmas IRL is always such a great time for my family and I, and then when everything settles down, Winter Veil in-game is like an awesome bonus :)
For me it's Brewfest, always get me in good mood when halfdrunk dwarves start treating me free beer and dance :PAlso reminds me of Octoberfest :D
My favorite holiday on Azeroth has always been Winter Veil! Grandfather Winter (and his epic dwarven beard) take me back to being a child again. Christmas around my house wasn't always about getting presents, although I must admit that's what it's become now. Back then, there was a magic to it, a feeling of warmth in the cold heart of winter that made me feel as though everything was safe. I guess it was something about spending time with family and friends. There was a lot of love in that little house around December 25th.Now I've grown up and moved on with my life. Christmas has lost a lot of the magic it once held for me, but as odd as it may sound, I see a small reflection of that christmas spirit when wandering around Ironforge during the holiday season. My friends and I often engage in gift giving on the bridge between the auction house and the bank. It also helps that my character is a Dwarven Shaman named "Nicholas." Yep, no accents! ;-)I'm looking forward to another magical year in the heart of the dwarven kingdom this year. We've got a few tricks up our sleeves to make it extra special for those who come wandering into the Commons. Just look for the old Dwarven Shaman named Nicholas and his two not-so-short Night Elven helpers on the Sentinels realm!Happy Holidays!
My favorite holiday in WoW so far is Hallow's End. I just love getting to fight the Horseman and get his drops and trying to get the rare items. I love summoning the Sinister Squashling too cuz its the perfect time and riding the magic broom around everywhere. And going around trick or treating everywhere around Azeroth and throwing pumpkins at my friends is really fun too! Oh yeah, and dont forget all the masks!
Brewfest is my favorite! Why? Because I am a brewer and it fits in with what I enjoy in RL, brewing and drinking beer!
