My favorite holiday is Launch day for any expansion. I call it LAG DAY!Or maybe the soon to be PokebattledayMy favorite Holiday is...well...I love them all :/ But Children's week holds a spot in my heart forever, mostly because I'm pretty sure it coincides with Japan's Children's day/Golden week. The fact that there is a real holiday that most people don't know about and yet Wow celebrates tickles my fancy. That and the fact I am still waiting for a flying goldfish pet. But seriously, it helps to add a little bit of seriousness and sadness to the game. The people we kill for quests and whatnot? They have families and children too, and our actions have consequences. There is also the hints that the future of the children we are watching over may not be as...nice...as wished. I do hope to find out what happens to Salandria/Dornaa in the future. I just finished saving the world guys, please watch yourself! But mostly it's fun to drag little children around as I slaughter people in BGs. It's a learning experience, kids!...that's not the reason you guys end up messeing up the future, right?
Brewfest is my favorite because all the laughing drunken goblins cheer me up and the Ram Racing Reins make such a satisfying slappy sound.
Hallow's End is my absolute favorite WoW holiday. I love the bats winging their way around the cities and the warm glow of jack-o-lanterns decorating every camp, city, and inn all over Azeroth. I love the sense of humor Blizzard imbues--the cheesy paper skeletons hanging in the inns, for example. And what can be better than trick-or-treating, dipping out handfuls of treats in hopes of a great mask or Sinister Squashling? And of course, who wouldn't have fun with The Headless Horseman, a crazed shade terrorizing small villages with his flaming fireballs and a thirst for vengeance? Or the excitement of traveling from those same scorched villages into the depths of the Scarlet Monastery graveyard to wreak vengeance of our own? Who hasn't felt an exuberant chill run through them to hear Sylvanas's passionate speech the first time they attended the ceremony of the burning of the wickerman? Or smiled with childish glee to drop a perfectly-timed stink bomb on a member of the opposing faction?Hallow's End is more than just a holiday; It's a feeling. It's a chill wind blowing through your hair and that prickly feeling that thrills through you when you just know something other is out there. It's the taste of candy on your tongue and the rustle of bat wings. It's everything that makes you want drop your adult cynicism and logic for one brief moment and allow yourself to believe that there is truly magic all around us.
My favorite holiday in WoW would have to be the Midsummer Fire Festival because during my first 2 years of playing the game, I was always on a server that had a very high alliance population and a low amount of horde. And since I was horde the first time that I experienced this event, it was memorable for me because I had to die so many times when I was trying to get the flame from each of the alliance capital cities. Also torch tossing was extremely difficult until I got the hang of it. Overall, this event will always stand out in my mind as being enjoyable because it was fun, challenging, and frustrating at the same time.
I've always been a big fan of Brewfest. Personally love beer and Oktoberfest outside of the game as well. In game, the Wolpertinger, the endless mugs of beer, and of course empty mugs that are epic weapons....what's not to love about it.
Hallow's End. Just what other holiday is there for a DK? It gives everything a Death Knight could ever mean. A scary flying undead horse, sinister ghoul pumpkins, and a helmet that lets you cackle like a REAL Death Knight! Though, maybe "ruining other people's celebrations with goofy pranks" isn't quite a Death Knight thing, but you know what? They deserve it!Also the Headless Horseman is easily the best holiday boss, and I kinda wish they'd do more with him! Like be the final boss of Heroic Scarlet Monastary! Or an optional one. ... Blizzard, you heard it here first!

My favorite Holiday is Valentines so i can get my Big Pink Love Rocket!
Personally, My favorite holiday in WoW is Brewfest!I don't usually laugh out loud at anything, but just all the silly stuff happening all the time like the beer goggles or just the music it's actually so much fun to sit around and play, Lookin at people in trade chat slurring all their words and everyone just having a good time.I also love the fact that their is two mounts available (still after all these years still can't get that pesky ram)and some great trinkets and a weapon if you're lucky enough that's great for players who are fresh 85's.To end this all, Brewfest is just a fun time, especially if you indulge.
Hallow's End.I love it for all the things it offers: From going trick or treating in every zone possible, to burning a giant wickerman, bombing the enemy's city with stink bombs, and my personal favorite... the rhyming Headless Horseman. The Headless Horseman's voice is my absolute favorite thing in all of WoW. Even if I quit WoW and never wanted to play it ever again, I'd still re-sub just to fight him again and again...I'd rant and ramble on this subject, but in all honesty I have no way to make a long winded post about this holiday I love... it's just too great for words.
I would have to say winter veil because it's an awesome time of year because of the snow balls :DThe presents are awesome it's always a surprise opening up each present. As we get older RL presents don't come along as much so even if it's as cheesy as ingame presents still puts a smile on my face :DIt was also the first holiday i encountered in game so it holds a special place in my nerd heart <3
My favorite holiday is Hallow's End.And the reason is.......Magic BroomsI love the instant cast broom mount. It's the only time of year I can get an instant cast mount. I look forward to having it all year round for use all day, but especially in PvP,it really gives you the leg up when you're trying to get away in a hurry. Also, a requirement of any good holiday is a rare mount drop from the holiday boss, and this holiday has that.Looking to make some quick gold? You can really rake it in by hitting up every trick or treat pumpkin across the world. And it gives xp to boot!Say you do that on all your alts, and you're looking at some serious cash flow that doesn't require too much work, and xp to go with it.Always a fun holiday.
MIDSUMMER! The music is lively. Real bonfires and WOW ones are great fun. Who doesn't want to spin around the maypole till u puke? And it was the first of the holidays I encountered when I started playing, I am kind of partial to it =)
Greatest holiday is Winter Veil. The quests are quite fun, and the atmosphere during that time aptly reflects RL Christmas time. Though during that time of year I don't usually have as much time to play, I do enjoy the moments of cheery atmosphere that I get to spend in game during that festive season. :) Cheer!
i really love Brewfest; Getting drunk for free, boe items, 2 awesome mounts. What else do you need to be happy?
winter veil would be my favorite as i like opening the presents and throwing out snow balls and summoning my little reindeer.
Children's Week, i enjoy all the fun quests and achievements that i do with the orphan.
