I am a huge fan of the Christmas holiday. I like the snowball fights. I love the Gifts under the tree. The good spirit of the holiday. It's just like real christmas.
My favourite holiday in World of Warcraft would have to be Lunar Festival. Why? I love outdoor PvP. When horde and alliance used to form 40man raids in vanilla to kill Omen, it ended up being a giant PvP fest with PvE elements - that just doesn't happen, horde and alliance after the same target. One faction would attempt to interfere with the current group, defeat them, grab the tag on Omen, rinse and repeat.Outdoor PvP events are extremely rare, but this holiday event made it happen and was thus more than just a Lunar Festival (as well as giving me some fireworks and a nice dress). My favourite event in World of Warcraft!
Children's week. The hardest one of the holidays in my opinion because of 'School of hard knocks' but so much fun being bad role model and feeding the kid so much sugar :)
Hallow's End because there are so many costumes for people to dress up in.
For me, the Lunar Festival has to be my favorite holiday of all. There's a lot of fun to be had in learning about the lore of the game. That and, Engineers get to learn fireworks, which is always awesome. :)
I think I like Brewfest the most because of the activities added in game, a lot more fun to race rams than put out fires, sorry buildings.
My favorite holiday in real life and the game has to be "Pilgrim's Bounty." In real life it is amazing because you get to see family with out the commercialization that is considered Christmas. When it was added in game it was cool to see how it was depicted in game and they added an easy way to get 350 cooking! In game it isn't as "grindy" as some of the other holidays where you have to go around to every zone destroying bonfires or trick or treating. Additionally, it starts the feeling of "holidays" which is a wonderful time of the year all around!
My favorite: CHILDRENS WEEKWhy: 1. I find the achievements most amusing. (Bad Example, Home Alone, etc.)2. Lots of free pets!3. Anytime I can help get those poor orphans out and away from the creepy priests in the cathedral is worth it to me.
Honestly I was just talking to my brother about our favorite holiday and both at the same time said Hallows End. We just love the scenery, the pumpkins, witches hats and festive lore, not the mention the headless horsemen boss. Flying on the broom stick is just the best! Im so sad it ends tomorrow :(
