The Lunar Festival is my favorite because it's easy but still fun, and you can talk to the elders. This is something to me because I wish I could do that in real life. You know-the whole hearing about the past, HISTORY, from their lips-kind of thing. I love history and learning how and what people did in the past. So, for me it's like it's happening in a surreal kind of way. lol. :)

First, I'd like to mention that "theultimateend" is my husband (since our IPs will match I am making note of this). We've played WoW together since around Pilgrim's Bounty time last year. Regardless of this fact, it is not my favorite holiday (though it did boost my cooking up nicely after just starting the game! ;D).I've put a lot of thought in to this, maybe more than some others. At first I thought "Love is in the Air" was a favorite. It has a lot of different types of achievements, and was just plain fun and goofy. Probably my second favorite! But, I would have to say my favorite is the Midsummer Fire Festival. Even though I was already level 85, there were a lot of areas I had never really explored before in Azeroth, especially Horde areas. Not to mention the great amount of gold which got me enough for my Master Riding skill! Midsummer also has the fun yet aggravating torch tossing/catching (ohhhh you should have seen my daily torch catching rage). The ribbon dance buff was awesome for leveling my alts, and Lord Ahune gave me my first purple gear ever. The fiery costume pieces is also a plus, though I apparently threw some of mine out by accident, so I look forward to next year along with saving up for the pet! Not the coolest pet from an event...but I'll be damned if I don't catch them all (mmm Pokemon reference for the next expansion)!Sorry so long, but that is all! Thanks for the awesome holiday guides, by the way!
Brewfest has to be my favorite holiday; between the mounts, achievements and mass amounts of alcohol how can you go wrong?
My favorite holiday, by far, is Brewfest.Every year, my friends and I go to the center of Brewfest for the Dark Iron Invasion event. Even though barely anyone helps out, we chug and chuck until we lose. We would spend hours every day just throwing mugs at the dwarves and having a good time. We would also do Coren Direbrew and run around in BRD after we killed him and we would mess around in there. Sometimes we would even hop into Molten Core and kill Ragnaros. My favorite holiday is Brewfest, not because of the event, but because of the things I can do with my friends.
My favorite is Hallow's End. I love the atmosphere, especially around Brill and the Undercity, it definately makes it spooky. I love that you can run around Org or Stormwind and see everyone in costumes and masks. Trick-or-treating isn't as mind numbing as Midsummer, and you can end up being tricked and turned into a worm (my favorite) or even mini-diablo. The Headless Horseman even has always been fun, the fact that he rhymes almost everything he says makes it for me. I love that you can get a pumpkin vanity pet. It looks amazing and has always been one of my top ten. Not to mention the new Creepy Crate. Watching it eat creeps and lick its lips is hilarious. In short, Hallow's End has been my favorite holiday ever since it was created. I like that it doesn't take itself too seriously (Heck, the Horseman's Helm laughs at you.) and while it's spooky in some parts, it's funny in others. Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and good luck to the winners!
Hallow's End. I kinda wish Azeroth was decorated like this year-round....
My favorite holiday is the Midsummer Festival, summer is probably my favorite season, and I've always enjoyed the games and achievements tied to this holiday. Plus you get a companion pet, and who doesn't like that?
Brewfest especially the first year it was up on the live servers, it was lots of fun with the slow fall beers you could use. Going all over the world slow falling off giant cliffs to see how far you could go XD. I also enjoyed the ticket system they used for the mounts was a lot of fun working for them
Children's week is the first holiday I remember playing WoW for. I remember coming across a quest somewhere, thinking 'Huh?' and exploring a bit further. Once I had the basics down, guess where I went for the skinny? Right here.I was disappointed that I wouldn't have a chance at the exotic pets, since none of my characters were high enough level to go to outlands, but I still ran it through with all my main characters. I got a turtle for my tank, a rat for my undead mage (who's a bit of a jerk. :D) and a piggy for my hunter, as I recall. This year I went back through and got Sleepy Willy for my main (the tank) since I heard that he occasionally zaps creeps (another tidbit I picked up from this site).I particularly liked running into obscure or dangerous locations with my orphan, and even kept the quest on one of my alts, periodically bringing him out to play long after I should have sent him home.
Noblegarden is by far my favorite holiday. I still run around with bunny ears and spring flowers in my bags to spice up raids.
Winters Veil - Favorite WoW holiday as well as RL holiday simply because the spirit of giving and unselfishness is so abundant and it is such a festive time.
Brewfest, Dwarves are the best race IMO and I like beer. What's not to love?
Hallows end, Its entertaining mildly profitable and It constantly taunts me with the headless horseman's mount.
