Hallow's End! For the fond memories. It was the first event I took part in and when I wasn't being summoned to out of reach zones, or snuck in to watch from behind a statue as guildies took down the headless horseman, it had me tearing around Azeroth, giggling as I chased sugar highs 'til stupid o'clock. :3Plus, being in the UK it's the only chance I get to really share my excitement for bats and pumpkins. :P
Childreen weekend;9 think is great questthere
My favorite holiday is Winterveil. Why? Because I started playing on Christmas day 2008. My first experiance with WoW intailed seeing that huge tree in Org, opening presents, and seeing sooo many people celebrating the holiday and having fun. THAT is why Winterveil is my favorite Holiday. :) Cheers!
hallows end. Halloween is my favorite holiday.
My favorite is hallows end, because it was the first event going on when I started playing WOW back in BC. It was also the first world event achievement I was able to finish on one of my toons.
My favorite has always been the Lunar Festival. Reasons are as follows: 1. It gives you a reason to visit old dungeons. 2. It has one of the best titles in the game. 3. It creates a passive PvP ground (at least for those PvP servers). 4. It uses one of the best and most underused towns in the game. 5. The names of the elders are some of the most epic in the game. 6. The boss is a raid-level encounter, not a 5-man. 7. Furthermore, Omen works out beautifully with wowlore, unlike other holidays like Winter's Veil, which seem to use variations of western myth wowified.
The holiday I like most is the Hallow's End, because it's when you can avenge the orc who stepped on your head during a battleground, making his city smell more than usual.
