I gotta go with the Festival of the Moon, since it was my very first Wow holiday! Technically, though, I haven't seen them all run yet. I have high hopes for Winterveil …
I love the noble garden week it reminds me of when I was a little girl at my gramma and grampa's place. It was a peaceful and beautiful place to be.
Hallow's End. Why you are asking? well HEADLESS DUDES HORSE MOUNT
Hallow's Eve...Its my favorite in real life and in game. What better time of year to dress up, not to mention carving pumpkins with the family....and hello...free candy lol.
wow anniversary, feat of strength achievement ;3
I would definitely have to say Children's Week. I love all the pets involved and Im a huge pet collector. I also love children so helping one out every year is really cool too.
Hallows end will always be the best for me. I remember the good ol days when you would get ganked outside SM over and over while trying to forma a group, and rolling 4 other warriors for the helm that dropped and winning with a 23... was such an awesome moment I felt like a badass. used that helm for like 3 months too.
Hallow's End! :Dits gotta be the best holiday anywhere! the costumes and the candy are freaking awesome! :D
brewfest cause we can get drunk and fight iron dwarves
Hallow's End, the lore behind the Headless Horseman is awesome, and who doesn't like all that candy?
I think I'm going to have to go with the Midsummer Fire Festival for this one. While I really enjoy some of the rewards from other holidays, I find I like the atmosphere of the Fire Festival the best. I really enjoy bonfires but I get overheated really easily, so it's hard for me to enjoy them in person. Virtual fires are almost the next best thing :3 Plus, we never really celebrated Mayday in my family, so—with the exception of the July 4th fireworks—most of the activities in the MFF feel unique to WoW to me, and I wish there was more of that—holidays in-game that didn't necessarily correlate to real-life holidays.
Midsummer Fire FestivalThe first half of summer has come to an end, and the pace has become slower. Everyone can sense a change, but it’s not clear why. Not a bad change, just different from the overwhelming knowledge of the endless possibilities when summer begins. It is the heart of summer, and people somehow feel closer to each other. There is a calm feeling in the air that makes one want to slow down during the day, and eat things one normally wouldn’t, such as elderberry pie and toasted smorc. Then, come night, gather around a bonfire and listen to cheerful music while a warm cozy glow emanates from distant windows. This feeling is perfectly captured in Azeroth. The lights are just dim enough, the colors are just right, and the Midsummer Reveler is the perfect guise to wear while celebrating, and help anyone look elegant while dancing. Even if one chooses not to participate in song or dance, the beautiful Brazier of Dancing Flames more than makes up for that. Who could resist the chance to interact with a bare-skinned burning woman?Lastly, there are all the small things that combine to bring everything together. Flaming torch juggling, honoring the flames around the world, and most importantly, dancing around the ribbon pole. What better time is there to attempt to sneak into enemy territory to cause some mischief? Truly, what more could one ask.
