I would have to say that Children's Week is my favorite WoW holiday. First, you are chosen to take care of an orphaned child. That child asks you to do a few things for them but along the way you bring them into dungeons and battlegrounds, you also teach them to eat junk food. All to be rewarded with Matron/Patron title, implying that you are a responsible guardian. Makes me LOL.
pirate's day hands down. u get to be a pirate, talk like a pirate and sip on rum like a pirate. what else do u need? yarr!
I'd have to say Midsummer Fire Festival, is my favourite. It gives me a good excuse to use my flaming piccolo and wear the costume :DAlso the Fire Festival music is, by FAR, the best in WoW, in my opinion! :D
My absolute favorite holiday will always be Brewfest. I had only been playing the game for a few weeks when I strolled out of Ironforge and saw crazed players riding rams at Ludicrous Speed all over the place and throwing these big barrels of alcohol at NPCs. I learned ram racing and fell in love. I fought the Dark Irons for the first time and won. While drunk. I learned...wait...there were things called DAILY QUESTS? That you could repeat every day for even more XP? More Dark Irons! More Rams! All too soon the holiday was over. It was the most fun I had had thus far in WoW, and it kick-started two obsessions that have been with me ever since: I nabbed an imaginary Wolpertinger (PEEEEEEETSSSSS), and I became an achievement junkie. The month of September will hold special meaning for me forever, even if a time comes when I am no longer playing Warcraft.
I Love Halloween irl so it make sense to love it in game too so Hallow's End is my favorite
Hallow's End is my all time favorite WoW holiday! I love killing the Headless Horseman every day for a chance at the reins of his mount! That thrill is lacking from most of the holidays. Brewfest and Love Is In The Air come in close, but their mounts are nowhere as cool as the Headless Horseman's!
Hallow's End! It was the first holiday that you could do the achievements for, and the horseman is just so charming. "Ah ha ha ha ha ha!"
Probably Love is in the Air. mainly because i hate valentines day, and i love the undead. Something about spreading a plague of cologne and perfume over azeroth for ill gain seems too awesome.
Hello, dear Wowhead, and visitors too,I can't say how great it is to see you!Now sit down right there and I'll tell you a taleof all the reasons I love Winter Veil!Greatfather Winter brings us all such great presents;Everyone gets some, even the peasants! It's such a great time when we all have such fun,We all get a robot and even a gun!Don't celebrate too early, disaster has struck;Metzen's been kidnapped by some evil schmuck! But never you fear, as all will be well,I'll go rescue Metzen and it'll be swell! The feast is so great as it fills Ironforge; It's in Dun Morogh, which is by Searing Gorge.I'm sorry for these bad rhymes, they may seem patheticBut it's hard to rhyme WoW words and still sound poetic.I have to go now, Azeroth needs meBut be in no doubt that Greatfather Winter loves thee. This holiday's the best, and joy will prevail; You'll have a great time at this year's Winter Veil!
I like Hallow's End. It's the first one where I remember having fun with guildmates. We used to queue up with everybody's alts so that we could get as many chances at the horseman's mount as possible - horseman runs could take hours. I used to hawk wand charges in Orgrimmar on my alts. I remember getting rid of tricky treats by eating them until I got sick - and then curing myself and eating more. Good times!
My favourite holiday is Winter Veil!purely because Christmas is the best real life holiday + near my birthday, and i love making my mount a reindeer and making my little pet reindeer follow me about!and also who doesn't love spamming people with snowballs? :P
The Lunar Festival, as it was my first holiday I actually participated in. I remember fighting Omen with my old guild back in Vanilla and how tough it was with all the constant pvp going on all around Moonglade, and of course the awesome fireworks that you got to purchase.
