Brewfest, as it reminds me of the terrible beer my brother brewed in our bathtub.
Hallow's End by far. Every year I am looking out to hear the voice of the headless horseman again. Love his rhymes and playing fire man in the small towns is great fun! Also you can get one of the most awesome mounts, helmet, sword and pet from this event! And who doesn't love flying around on brooms with no summon time? This year is even more fun with dropping stink bombs in the opposite faction's town!
Hallow's End, hands down, is my favorite WoW holiday. "The Hallowed" was the first title I ever received on my main and I was very proud of it too. Being born on Halloween, it's always been a great holiday for me. I always enjoy it, and being able to experience the cool things they do in-game with the holiday just overjoys me. I'm still trying to get that mount though! It's been 3 years! Oh well........Happy Halloween everyone!
My favorite is brewfest. get smashed and ride a ram. what good be better.
I love/hate Hallow's End. It's both a nice easy holiday, it has a boss fight so that you get random loots. It has a ton of XP available via the trick or treating, great for leveling up alts and grabbing flight paths. Hate the holiday because of the mount. I want the HH's mount on my warlock. I've tried numerous times to get this for the last 4-5 years. Back before it was loot pumpkin, my guild would kill him 20-30 times a night trying to get him.
For me it's Brewfest. I have had my Brewfest title for a few years but I just enjoy doing the seasonal quest line. It's so fun ram slapping your way down the Ironforge course and the path outside. I still have not won the Kodo after 3 years and really would love it. It's the only rare mount that I require to make me a happy person. Long live BREWFEST!
Hard choice, But I think I've settled on Lunar Festival. I love lore, and enjoy reading it. Then, when Lunar Festival rolls around I can go around the entire world looking at cool scenery and other areas from lore, all while getting a few achievements. *thumbs up Lunar Festival*
Hallow's end is always my favorite WoW holiday, from the costumes and candy collecting to the pets and fire battling, not to mention the years of hope for the Headless Horseman's mount!
Well Hallow's End because it represents halloween and its like the best holiday ever! plus i think its one of the easiest holiday to incorporate into World of Warcraft, plus i know everyone misses trick o treating as a kid! :D
Children's week, because there is nothing better then to take a orphan to a fun day, and see that big smile on his face trying new things.
My favorite time of the year is brewfest. Its the only time of the year i can quest seing the world the same way as i see the world every day.
I think one of my favorite holidays is Brewfest. When else are you ENCOURAGED to get drunk and drive Rams? Besides the fact that those rams like to run whichever way they please, especially while you're drunk, to provide you with endless frustration and amusement, you get to have drunken bar-brawls all over the place. It is appropriate to slur your words and peer intensely at others through your beer-fog, or Beer-Goggles, as it may be. And it's one of the few times Rogues forget themselves and spawn their Wolpertinger's in battle, more often than not. WE CAN SEE YOU WHEN WE'RE DRUNK! >DDRINK DRINK DRINK DRINK! FIGHT FIGHT FIG-*pass out with a beerstein in hand* :D
My favorite is hollows end. Although I do enjoy the surprise present aspect of winterveil, hollows end just has so much more to keep you entertained. The horseman is a very dramatic cool fight, the flying brooms are so awesome i ride nothing else while the holiday lasts, the horsemans mount has been my go-to mount for about two years since i first got it and I dont intend to change it anytime soon. This year has been even better since i can FINALY get the mask of all occasions achievement (despite looting every chance for the last 3 years im still missing several) as well as the cat on a broom being one of my new favorite non combat pets (and I am an avid pet collector so that means it near the top of a considerably long list). The wicker man is so iconic and impressive and the speech that the banshee queen gives made me want to roll an undead lol. The exp and rep buff from the ashes lets people take the fun from the holiday and spread it to the rest of their game, as it gives em a hand weather their still leveling or have advanced to rep grinding. Saving the burning towns is also really fun and a great diversion from the normal pace of the game, its fun to have an actual sense of rushed urgency to get the fire out before the time is up. And the letter from the orphan can just break your heart! (you know if you weren't a battle hardened adventurer and all). Add to all that the fun of the random costumes and the motivation to re-explore the world to get all the pumkins (as well as nice xp and gold). Its just a really fun holiday all around.
