My favorite holiday is Children's Week. I love trying to get the achievements, traveling all over to complete quests, and collecting the pets. Also what's cuter than having your own Curious Oracle Hatchling or Curious Wolvar Pup? If I was a roleplayer I'd love to keep them out as my "adopted orphans".
Hallow's End is my favorite, because when I first started playing it was going on, and everyone seemed to be having such a good time that it rubbed off on me. I also love how a fable (Headless Horseman) became a real boss with lore, and I love that you can steal his mount, his pet and his weapons if you are lucky.
Hallows end is my favorite because it makes me think of Nightmare before Christmas; although, Winter veil is fun too. My second favorite holiday is level up day, it comes every few days for me!
My favorite is the Winter Veil. Snowball fights, reindeer mounts, cookies, and presents. Who doesn't love presents?
hallows end i just love hearing headless horsemen talk his talk! :) and this year i got lucky and got my mount finally! took me 3 years to get it
Children's Week. Cause of the Awesome Pets!
My favorite holiday is Brewfest.
My favorite holliday is probably the Feast of Winter Veil. I love the sense of humor and whimsy that it brings, and the event gives me much enjoyment. From the holliday themed food and drinks, to the greedy goblins selling wrapping paper, it all lends itself a festive and homey feeling. I especially love the santa hats on the dungeon bosses, as well as the multitudes of gnomes and goblins in the battelgrounds.
My favorite holiday in WoW is the Brewfest simple because I love speaking with those drunk dwarves :]
Children's week is my favorite. On the 2nd day of Childrens Week 2 years ago I was told that my dad had beaten prostate cancer and would most likely live the rest of his life. Then this last Childrens week we found out he was 12 months cancer free. So the 5 year mark is his next step. Hopefully in a few more Childrens Weeks we'll find out he's 5 years cancer free.
My favorite holiday is hard to decide. It is a hard choice, but I would have to say Hallow's End because it is my favorite IRL holiday, and this year they made it even better. The new cat that mounts up with you is a perfect little minion, and the lack of trick-or-treating every hour is a spectacular change. The new buff with a bonus to XP and reputation is also much loved on my achievement-hunting toon. I also really enjoy the voice actor who plays the Headless Horseman. His rhymes make me laugh and get stuck in my head. The wands also make for amusing "waiting for the pull" boredom-solvers (though when I accidentally turned the MT into a bat and he didn't notice and ran forward to pull it didn't exactly go well.. woops).I have to mention, though, the other holiday that has a special spot in my brain. The Midsummer Fire Festival was the first festival I ever got to experience in WoW, and i have silly memories of doing it as the super-noob that I was then. Running around everywhere at around level 44, being terrified of hitting an opposing-faction's bonfire (it'd flag me and for sure the high lvls would appear and kill me like they do to the NPCs in Crossroads!). This also meant finding my way to Outlands at 44 and repeatedly dying trying to find my way around, haha. Oh the memories.
Children's week is my favorite holiday. There's something about kid's yelling "Help! iI need an adult!"
