Halloween has to be my fav because it reminds me of a more carefree time in my life when my brother and I could go out in the evening dressed in our favourite hero/monster/or whatever extra material mom had around at that time. We didn't have to worry about evil ppl waiting around the corner to nick us. The candy wasn't poisoned and we could stay up late eatting ourselves sick....) It's kind of like LARPing back before we knew what that was. Once a year all of us got to pretend we were something we weren't. mmmm Good memories....)Meeshoo (Hellscream) UDK
I like Noble Garden, simple because its fun to watch players as bunnies race around collecting eggs. Its a bit fun to watch hordes of bunnies mass over the spawning of only a couple eggs at a time. One thing it doesn't have though is a holiday boss, those have always been fun for me throughout the years ever since Coren hit the stage back in 2007 or so.
I have to say Hallow's End, for simple reasons. First of all, after seeing pictures and hearing stories about the amazing Halloween celebrations in the US and other countries, it feels great to get a brief glimpse of this holiday, even through WoW, since we don't celebrate Halloween here in Finland.Second of all, in all the simpleness, I simply find the achievements and the Headless Horseman more entertaining, in comparison to such holidays as the Winter Veil. Also, it holds a valuable lesson. Uh-oh, don't eat too much candy!
The best one is for sure Winter Veil, i like giving and receiveng presents :D
Hallow's End for sure. Love being changed into different things and I'm still trying to get the Horseman's Reins. Sigh.
Brewfest is my favorite WoW holiday. It was the first holiday I encountered when I started playing and I got my first pet, my Wolpertinger, from the quests there.
Mine has to be Hallow's End- i enjoy it because of the Headless Horseman's dungeon and the sheer hope that one day i may get his mount drop lol! i also enjoy the candy buckets, there can never be enough candy to enjoy and unlike real life you never get turned away = RESULT!
Midsummer all the way. People actually wants enjoy company of others at vacation aswell. They aint so tight about raiding and school stuff. Many does get day offs from jobs aswell so it's more relaxed tank in ventrilo and everybody seems to be more happy. Even gear rolling is getting more non violent and less QQ about gear. I just love that when i know people enjoy summer (unless it's too hot :P)
My favorite WoW holiday is definately the Midsummer Festival. It was the first wow holiday I ever participated in, and I even made my gf fly me around so I could honor all the flames in Outland and Northrend even though I was too low level to get there properly. I was hoping to get the title, but I realized too late that being too low level to fly around in northrend also meant I'm too low level to kill Frost Lord Ahune, and thus I didn't get the title =( This is why I make sure to kill him as often as I can during the Midsummer Festival every year, so I can get revenge on the stupid boss that was too high level for me to kill back when I was a noob.
I like Love is in the Air, not for the girly things, but for so many dirty references blizzard sneaks in every year! I mean come on, The Love Rocket? That couldn't be a coincidence!
