Recently Hallows End became my favourite holiday because running around to the various candy buckets around the world on my 19 twink with no support was...interesting to say the least, but it felt like I really earnt the achivements I got, even though it involved a lot of corpse running, which did get a bit old.
My favorite holiday must be Winter Veil. Air is filled with hardly discrable magic and u spend losts of time with your family that counts the most. Older u are lest u care about presents and enjoy each other and not only in Wold of warcraft.
I'd have to say Hallows End.I live in the Netherlands and here halloween is not celebrated like in other countries. i've seen it in many movies and in tv shows and always thought it would be awesome to celebrate it, thanks to WoW now i can :)Love the new Hallows End, now i finaly got all masks and completed all world events achievements.my first world event has become the last one i finished... for my main that is, will be coming back every year with all my chars.
I would have to say that it would be Winter Veil. There is nothing quite like spending time with the family for Christmas and then coming back to WoW and spending time with your other family opening gifts and participating in the wacky festivities. Also lets be honest here, who doesn't want to be a gnome for a whole holiday season and riding around on a reindeer.
Love is in the air ! ... I mean this holiday is the best in World of Warcraft ( When I use word "Best" i mean with power of awesomeness - Like Harrison Jones) Question:Why?Not only because Male Taurens look soooo funny when they wear , and everyone have bees in they bonnets when they see Troll Rogue (*Oh Fistful of Love!* ),Players from other faction are sensitive and showered by rose petals and finally smell good (especially Undeads) , and everything is pink colored , cute, sweet and heart shaped, buuuut mainly becaue of possibility to get BIG LOVE ROCKET ! - *.* Aaaaaaamazing mount <3! oh.....and chocolates from this lovely Worgen *twink*
Hallow´s end definetly. I like scary things and the contests i have with my guild about who can run the longest amout of time with a pumpkin following :3 And HH´s qoutes are just the most epic ive seen xD
Haven't had the chance to experience every holiday for myself yet, but my favorite so far had to be the Midsummer Fire Festival. I found so much fun stuff to do, from seeing how quickly we could down the daily boss, to finally mastering the art of torch-juggling. The two elemental companions are among my favorites. And using the Brazier of Dancing Flames while waiting in a raid is always amusing. Then again, maybe I just love it because I'm a pyromaniac ^_^
My favorite Wow holiday would have to be Winter Veil, I love Christmas anyways and it even better when you get present in WOW and plus the snowballs are great too!
Brewfest, c'mon now, who doesn't love beer
Hallows end is my favorite holiday not only in wow but in the real world. Trees change colors we get to dress up sill and scary. BUt back to wow i love abo^&*!ly love the decorations and of course the pumpkin head helmet. I am a pet colector and the new pet the cat the introduced this year is about 150%. And you have a boss which drops good loot a chance for a mount... and speaking of the mount talk about awesome.... There isnt' one thing that i could compare wows halloween to anything... even halloween in the real world..... i love it absolutly love it =)
Midsummer Fire Festival, the soltice being a significant natural event every year in the real world and the translation to wow has been quite good. Besides, playing with fire(Torch Juggler, King of the Fire Festival, The Fires of Azeroth) without getting burned (too bad), who can say no to that? ;-)
My favorite is Hallow's End because it is modeled after Halloween :DI love dressing up in costume for Halloween every year and i even work local haunted houses when I can. It is a time of year to remember and honor our ancestors and celebrate their passing as well as just getting to be a kid again and have a few good ghoulish laughs! Of course the 'free' *read taken from my son's trick or treat bag ;)* candy is an added bonus!
