Winter Veil, without a doubt. The bright colorful lights that seem to cheer up even the most bitter and jaded of heroes, quests that remind me of favorite characters from my youth such as The Abominable Greench. The festive winter suits that allow anyone to adopt the look of everyones favorite bearded benefactor, and seeing a pretty girl in a winter suit is sure to make any humbug feel jolly. Throwing snowflakes at fellow Alliance players, then going into Alterac Valley and knocking horde off the bridge to Dun Baldar with huge snowballs. Collecting Holly so I can fly through the air on Reindeer and find the perfect place to take a screenshot for a WoW Christmas card. The excitement of the 25th when when everyone rushes to Ironforge to collect their gifts, eager to see what this years special gift is. And then toasting to my friends and guildies over vent, as we prepare to finish off another year of World of Warcraft. Truly, it is the most wonderful time of the Blizzard Year.
My favorite holiday is Winter's Veil! BECAUSE OF ALL THE FREE TOYS!
My favorite is Lunar Festival. Honoring the phases of the moon and our elders is something i respect.
Hallows End by far! Headless Horseman's mount and Helm are awesome, To be able to terrorize newbies by flying over them using the Helm special and yelling, nothing more gratifying that watching them run for their lives!
Mines, gotta be Winter Veil :D its when i start playing and its Christmas who doesn't love Christmas! :] snowballs everywhere!
It would have to be Winter's Veil. When I started in '05 when I was eleven, I had only a basic understanding of the game, but I was a quick learner. I started out in a store-bought Trial card, I made my very first character which was an Undead Warlock. I absorbed the LFG/WTB lingo fairly quick, come the holiday season I had bought the game and a two month game card, giving me a decent amount of time. Then I made my first trek to Orgrimmar because my friend was going to run me through Ragefire Chasm. On the way, I noticed a very pretty looking tree. Being curious, I stumbled upon the tree and took my very first present. That sparked my need to start leveling more, questing more, and doing more and more battle grounds. By the time my time ran out, I was 56 and it was just Post-TBC. That is my most memorable and favorite holiday. I love World of Warcraft events equally, but Winter's Veil has a place permanently imbedded in my heart.
Fire Festival. Naked runs through enemy main cities are a great way to pass the time. I realized at some point that pvp deaths don't damage armor, but I still do them naked because that makes it more interesting!
It has to be Hallow's End. Not only do you get the normal run around collecting quests available for all holidays, you get to raid the other factions cities and do your best to kill anyone who comes near yours. Hovering near the enemies wickerman and waiting for that perfect time to swoop in and get the quest complete, not knowing if your going to make it out alive, it's just a awesome quest. And the amount of collectibles is amazing.
Personally it has to be Christmas. It's a time when the trolls of /2 are off, and no one cares about other peoples gear. Nor do they cause fights for no reason :) So we can all play like civilized people :)
I think, the best is «Love is on the Air» event, Tons of positive and fun. Also i like to trying to obtain Love Rocket. It is interesting every time to loot your bag with foretaste of lucky.
I enjoy Brewfest, everyone gets drunk and has fun in the game. Seems to me people are happy for a change.
Winter veil, i just really love christmas
My favorite holiday on World of Warcraft is definitely Hallow's End. Because Halloween is my favorite holiday to start with, and I just love all the seasonal items from Hallow's End, especially the Headless Horseman loot!
