Hallow's End.My favorite is definitely Hallow's End. I love that my name is Hallowed, I love the Headless Horseman - even though his Goldshire rhymes get a little tedious. Furthermore, the pets are also quite awesome and I get to ride around on a broomstick.Besides, the amount of Harry Potter and literary potential for glorious puns is just a little better in this one. Furthermore, the achievements are quite achieveable for everyone and do not require insane amounts of pvp to get, which is right up my alley.Of course, it will be even nicer once armour customization comes in, because by then, the scary costumes will be infinite :D Hopefully, you will get to color your existing glows and armors as well. Then there will never be another holiday quite like it.
Brewfest for sure. Who can argue with beer?
I love the hollows eve quests. I just like the decerations, but i also lke the winter's veil ones too. Both holidays are my favorite. I just can't choose. Lol
I would have to say Hallow's End is my favorite. When it rolled around this year, it kind of caught me by surprise, and by doing so it put me in that nice "holiday season" feeling.Looking back, I can remember killing the Headless Horseman in previous years, including way before the Dungeon Finder was around when we had to throw groups together the old-fashioned way and there was no limit to how many times you could kill him (I have still yet to see his mount drop). I always get excited to trick-or-treat through every zone. It gives achievements, gold, and even some decent experience for leveling alts. Awhile ago, I recruited my friend to the game, and Hallow's End came around when he and I were still leveling, so we used the candy buckets for some easy experience. Revisiting the buckets every year reminds me of the awesome time we had leveling together. To top it all off, I get the privilege of having an instant cast mount for two weeks, the Flying Broom. Last year, before the Headless Horseman bags had a limited duration, I saved a couple of bags each with a Flying Broom in my bank. When Cataclysm came around, I pulled one of the brooms out and used it while leveling to 85, which was extremely handy.Hopefully I'll finally get that elusive Headless Horseman mount this year, but if not, at least I got a few achievements and a couple of pets from the holiday.
I have to say my favorite holiday on WoW is Hallow's End. It's the first holiday I really participated in all those years ago and actually the first event in which I fought one of the holiday 'bosses.'I still remember how overwhelmed I was fighting the Horseman and listening to his little one liners every time he went back to full health after you attacked the head. I thought we'd done something wrong the first time he did it.
Being a craft brewer, I'd have to say Brewfest!
My Favorite? Brewfest. Hands down. I predominantly play Alliance, so who doesn't love (overly) drunken dwarves?I kept my outfit from this. I mean, who doesn't want to wear a fez, put out a keg, get smashed, throw mugs at Dark Irons, and spank a ram?I even have ways to keep celebrating all year long...the Pony Keg, the outfit, the Keg Pony (I see what you did there!), a drunken, almost-demonic ram (the kodo is more epic, curse you, Direbrew!), and don't forget the magic drinking hat. The magic hat isn't exactly Brewfest-related, it's from Hellfire. But damn, it's almost as good as that magic fridge that occasionally appears out of the wall...I wonder why I'm NOT a dwarf...hic!
Brewfest, hands down. For starters I'm from Milwaukee so beer is just naturally part of my culture (responsibly of course). Secondly all the activities/quests/games are absolutely fun. It's one of the few events that I actually participate in even though there aren't any Brewfest items I want anymore (in that I've purchased them all).
Hallows End is my favorite as well, hands down! It was the first major holiday event I experienced on WoW and I dinged over to 60 while grinding mobs on my druid who was big and orange under the influence of treats! The whole holiday just always seems magical to me with all the decorations appearing all over the place, even going so far as to put creepy candles up around fountains, pumpkins everywhere, and bat swarms in the air. This year with the quest to fly on a broom and stink bomb stormwind it feels even more exciting :P Yay Hallows End!
