Hallows End because its the only holiday that really makes me travel Azeroth.
Brewfest because of all the dorf killing.

Brewfest is my favorite WOW holiday just like Octoberfest is one of my favorite "holidays" in general! At this point all i really play wow for is the holiday achievements! lol
Winter's VeilAll the fresh cooking ingredients running around (Gnome costumes), projectile weaponry is aplenty (fruit cakes and snowballs) and, of course, the presents. Already a favorite, the toy rifle sealed the deal in my opinion. All it needs is a sleigh mount...
My favorite holiday is children's week.Is is one of the only holidays in wow where you have to do something good for another, it might just be an child npc but to me, helping others is one of the most rewarding things you can do in life, expecially helping innocent children have a better life. Childrens week is very personal to me because it helps me remember my own youth and the many children that have been in it due to my mothers work. She is the one that taught me that helping others is so important and it gives alot back. (companion pets too!)So whenever childrens week comes around i do the quests with love because it reminds me of her and my own childhood.
My favorite holiday would have to be Brewfest. Whats not to like about getting drunk out of your mind and go kill dark iron dwarves? Some brew anyone?- Kraal
By far, Midsummer is my favorite. The tabards are beautiful. Everything feels so very celebratory. You've got a fun boss for free epics and an awesome pet. There are fun PvP achievements with lots of world exploring to be done. The buffs are amazing - especially for leveling those alts that we all have. Also - pole dancing, because what Fire Festival is complete without the jokes about dancing on flaming poles? And at the end of it all, gratuitous, dangerous levels of explosions. What's not to love!
I love Winter's Veil! Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year where people join together and have a wonderful time. For me, I like to give in-game gifts :)
My favorite holiday is the Lunar Festival. It was the first holiday I encountered in my WoW career. I'd been playing for only a week or two in 2008 and was very noobish to everything WoW and MMO's in general. I was a lowly 15 undead mage who stumbled upon the festivities in the throne room in Undercity. I ended up picking up all the quests, reading the text and seeing what all this was about. After playing with fireworks for a few minutes, I port myself out to Moonglade. I was completely shocked and in awe of all the shafts of light and the different races dancing around them. I spent an other few minutes taking that all in before venturing out into the unknown Moonglade. I ended up spending 10 minutes wandering around before I managed to get to the town where the rest of the attractions were. I was checking out the vendor and saw I could buy this cool looking dress that cost these tokens I only have 5 of from the quests I had done previously and needed 50 or some such number. Some number I never thought I'd ever get. After that disappointment, I spend 30 minutes wandering around yet again because I couldn't remember how to get back to Undercity and had forgotten I had a hearthstone. >.<That's why Lunar Festival will always be my favorite. It was my first. Now, after 3 years, I enjoy running to the remote corners and spelunking the many dungeons collecting the tokens from Elder's who's only true purpose seems to be making us go to the forgotten corners of the world. It's also the one time that Moonglade is a place that you want to go to. It's such a nice looking zone that is boring but once a year.
Hallow's End, all the way! Skywitch hat and the Black Mageweave set are killer! (And someday, blast it, I'll get the Horseman's Reins...)Hallowe'en is my favorite holiday IRL, and I love the month of October. Being able to celebrate in a really fun way online with friends all over North America makes it that much better.
Hallows End. Its really creates that cool creepy feeling with the horseman and pumpkins everywhere. I think it really makes more impact than any other holiday. (Except of course when the ICE STONE HAS MELTED!) lol :)
My favorite holiday is Hallow's End. When I first joined wow, this was the first holiday I saw. And in real life my favorite holiday is also Halloween.. As a child I loved The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. So Hallows End is my favorite.
My favorite holiday has always been the lunar festival. As simple as it is, I've had my best memories with it. It took two years for me to finally kill the giant dog to get the candle so I could make spotlight beams. Collecting enough tokens so I could buy the outfits was a challenge too, especially before we could fly across the continent in our OWN path. Infiltrating the opposing faction's cities and villages too gave a unique experience if you really wanted to get as many of the tokens as possible, dieing to the guards at crossroads for example. And finally, as a druid I really really enjoyed the ability to teleport to Moonglade and SEE SOMEONE THERE! :) It really puts a spotlight on the zone.
I'd have to say Winter's Veil, lots to do for characters of all levels, and presents under the tree. Who doesn't like presents? Last year's wasn't all that great because few people go to Ironforge these days, so I'm hoping they change it enough to get people interested again. I also like Brewfest, the racing rams are a lot of fun, it'd be great if they actually implemented a way to race other people for a few tokens.Edit: thought I'd add one of the reasons why I like Winter's Veil so much is that I'm a completionist when it comes to my toon's professions, and I have a lot of memories from hectic nights trying to stay alive long enough to buy the Green Winter Clothes recipe from the neutral vendor in Orgrimmar - I only found out that it was a neutral vendor two years ago but have only had a couple of nights to try and pick it up due to being away from a PC over the festive season. I couldn't attempt it at all last year, and I tried all sorts the year before - arranging a raid for Kill the Warchief, going at the dead of night (jesus don't Horde ever sleep), invisibility potions, Orb of Deception (yes I know lol)... I wasn't the best geared priest two years ago and I hadn't done much PvP, but this year I'm determined to get it and it should be a lot easier now you can fly in! If they remove the vendor or the recipe in this year's holiday I might just burn down Orgrimmar!
I really like the Hallow's End event as it allows you to experience killing the headless horseman and he is one idol character of us all, as younger children used in a lot of Halloween stories and generally over all it is quite easy but yet still fun to go around and do all the events & quests that this holiday event has to offer and its also funny to actually see the younger players scared; I just quite enjoy this holiday for a number of reasons but it would take much too long of a time to write the whole response so I hope my reasons are adequate and I thank you for this amazing opportunity; have a great Halloween & WoW game:)
i just want the halloween mount!
