Hallow's End- I love the headless horseman folklore and love the mount that you can get plus who doesnt like geting candy and being a ninja (like kung fu not jack someones gear).. =)
I would have to say its the hallow's end festival, for simple reasons. I like the Tim Burtonish atmosphere, and fighting the headless horseman always gives me a kick.
Hallow's End is my favorite as it was the first one I got to take part in.
I'd have to say Hallow's end. Fun events to do, as well as a small boss, it's entertaining. Also, quite decent rewards!
Midsummer Fire Festival!Scythe drops, man. Scythe drops everywhere.
brewfest the booze
Hallow's End. This time of the year is awesome and altho i am always a fan of brewfest, the sinister squashling is a great companion. Brewfest is such a close second and stumbling around....hic...for a few weeks does certainly have its upsides so its so hard to chose but a little pumpkin on legs and candy everywhere, its hard to beat!
If you would ask me what I liked the most....Yeah I tend to say the Day of the Dead (yes it's an official seasonal festival even in WoW). The Day of the Dead brings alot of good memories because;- I started playing WoW at that specific day (I still remember it as if it was yesterday...!)- You can learn to bake Day of the Dead bread ! :D- First time I checked WoWhead how to get the achievement done... after that I never stopped looking and made into an Achievement hunter!- Dancing with the dead to become a sombrero wearing undead is just awesome!- My first pet... The per skull you can obtain from the Day of the Deadyeah.. althought it doesn't matter to the Violet Proto it's still cool to have that achievement. I wonder if Blizzard is adding some extra things this year to the Day of the Dead. Till now Blizzard addeed some cool new content to make it easier to get achievements done, although that also pains me. But for the New player under us it's a good way to pick up and keep up with the "oldskool achievement hunters".
My favourite world even is definitely Hallow's End. I love this holiday because of the grim and heavy feeling in the air. It was the first event I have fully completed achievements-wise, first event I participated after system was introduced. I love everything about it and I have amazing memories. Each time I think of bombing Southshore it brings a smile on my face. Burning the Wickerman and Banshee Queen's speech. Magical memories that will never leave me. And of course Headless' Horseman. I remember the first encounter. It was magical, extinguishing the fires. I loved how everyone was helping for a good cause. Passing buckets and a kind word. Not to forget I find Horseman's quotes the most memorable. Every year I look forward to Hallow's End, because I can share maniacal laugh and a wink with Headless Horseman. That's why it's my favourite time of year in World of Warcraft.
Definitely Hallow's End. The horseman is the coolest holiday themed boss out of them all.
Winter Veil would probably be my favourite, for various reasons; when I first got into MMOs with Guild Wars (not a real MMO, yeah, yeah) I remember playing through the Christmas event on Christmas day itself, which was pretty crazy for me at the time. When it came to the Winter Veil, which was also my first WoW holiday, I was taken aback by the stuff you could get up to and really enjoyed it. My particular favourite part had to be the snowballs, back when they could be used to knock players down (oh the laughs!)I think another reason that this holiday season trumps the others, for me, is that there is no tedious visiting every inn in the continent!
Hallow's End. I enjoy all of the masks and wands available. Being an adults it's nice to get to go trick-or-treating again; collecting all the candy and in my case, getting tricked often. Plus one day, I just might get the mount from the Headless Horseman! lol
