Definitely Winter Veil. I love christmas and everything about it, but the next reason I love Winter Veil is that will now be the last holiday I need for the beautiful mount! Boy, what a long, strange trip it's been..
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?My favorite holiday would have to be the Harvest Festival. While it hasn't been vastly updated or received a lot of attention like Mid-summers or Hallow's End, it was the first holiday that I was around to participate in. I remember when it was all about getting the bounty of the harvest because the food was really good to have around!
i like Hallows end because that mount is FRIKKIN AWESOME!1! MUST HAVE IT!1!
Gotta be Hallow's End. Nothing says "Ha Ha!" Quite like turning your tank into a wisp moments before pulling ragnaros. And all the little cosmetic candies make it all the more awesome.
I like Winter veil most couse there no travel throu the world for archivment. but every feast with an optional boss is good, too exept you can´t farm the Boss´s like VP all on one day.
Brewfest! Cheers m8!
For me i cant decide between hallowsend and brewfest, even mid summer is great.but if i had too pick and choose i would say hallowsend just becuase zombies are <3
Hallow's End is definitely my favorite WoW holiday. My guild always throws a big, in game event/party & costume contest! my husband & I always spend the year talking about it.. I have even gone so far as to level another character JUST to "play my part" (we did peter pan & tinkerbell AND we won!) This year we are doing Little Red Riding Hood & the Big Bad Wolf, since he has now race changed! Our party's tonight... Silver hand server- we will be racing our tonks around SW for a while! <3 Hallow's End in WoW is a great time for us to all get away from the monotony of the game, dailies, rep grinding & running raids and have lots of fun and get creative!
My favorite holiday in WoW in the Midsummer Festival. This is my favorite because the idea of extinguishing enemy fires. Also this is fun because it involves world pvp.
Brewfest because I like the way my woopertingle tingles.
My favorite holiday has always been the Mid Summer Fire Festival. When I first started playing WoW back in the day, the fire festival was an incredible experience. I was having fun dancing at the ribbon poles with fellow noobies (the most fondest of memories being back when there was one at Ratchet where me and 3 others were just having fun running around the ribbon pole and talking to each other), and later delving into the toughest dungeons to honor the flames within to get a mini pet. There was something about infiltrating the Alliance cities to steal their flame that was also fun and exciting too, mainly because I've never been to them before. These memories keep me clinging on to this as being my favorite holiday, just enjoying a fictional celebration about Summer and ending it with a big ol' firework display (which I found best enjoyed on the highest central rise in Thunder Bluff). These days though, there are even more reasons to enjoy the fire festival: Fun mini game dailies, a pair of shoes and a robe to give you more reasons to dance, and killing yet another elemental lord over and over for the promise of a sweet staff and more spiffy pets. The whole celebration gives me a sense of fun outside of the normal raiding grinds, and leaves me feeling warm and cozy when I take the time to just enjoy it with my friends in RP or OOC.
I love Hallow's End the best. I like the decor and the quests but there's something fun about the wands.. especially when you're sitting around waiting for your raid to start and you can make your harried raid leader a bat. I love it!
Ghosts hanging in the trees, skeletons on the wall, and glowing pumpkins everywhere can only mean one thing. Hallow's End is finally here. I can't describe my excitement the first time I saw the Shade of the Horseman fly over Goldshire. I'm like, OMG! What's going on! And then to get my revenge on this terrible ghost (of a ghost), I have to travel to none other than the Scarlet Monastery (it was always twisted there anyway). And I defeat him! And better than that, I get his mount and the most awesome pumpkin pet ever. Then I can finally revel in the festivities.Hallow's End, to me, is a time where everyone gets to cut loose a little bit. There's nothing better than right before pulling heroic Baleroc the main tank yells, "I can't pull! I'm a bat!". Everyone is enjoying their candy, brooms, wands, pumpkins and we can't forget the awesome gaudy masks lol. It's the atmosphere. The energy in the air. It's Hallow's End!
Love is in the air. Because you get to eat loots of candy and its such a nice thing do have in wow because we only kill eachother.
Pilgrim's Bounty is my favorite festival. Sitting at a table with 4 other complete strangers trowing food at each other. What more could a human (or elf, gnome, dwarf etc.) being want.
I'll have to vote for Children's Week. You wont find a more good-hearted event and the quest rewards are just as cute as the orphans. :-]
