I *LOVE* Lunar Festival! Running around the world honoring the elders just brings me great pride! Also, the moon robes are cool :)
I haven't been through all of your wonderful holidays just yet, but so far Hallow's End is my favorite. I love the surprise when I click on a candy bucket and I get transformed into a tiny minion. The biggest plus to this holiday - my Creepy Crate pet gobbling up a cow - hilarious!
Winter Veil. It just always makes me feel so good waiting for the presents under the tree to become active and then the excitement of opening them! Not to mention reindeer with flat hooves flying around like swarms of flies.
Brewfest!Get drunk and get loots!Although I never did get the dagger on my rogue...
Hallow's End all the way - for many reasons, but here are my favorites. My family lives in 4 different states and WoW is the way we stay in touch. Our favorite "family outing" is kicking some Headless Horseman butt. The battle is fun and there's the anticipation that maybe this will finally be the year one of us will open our Loot-Filled Pumpkin and find The Horseman's Reins! Trick or treating in Alliance towns gave me my first taste of PVP! I'll never forget the adrenaline rush of my first kill. The candy, the costumes, the decorations and the loot all make me smile. The Magic Broom is the first mount I ever had that let me fit through the elevator doors in Undercity!Lots of good memories... :)
My favorite holiday has to be Hallow's End! It was the first holiday where I could join groups to kill the holiday boss (I had just reached level 80) and the feeling was epic! None of us really realize it now, because groups down the boss so quickly, but the fights are pretty creative and fun! Not to mention that you get to defend towns from the Headless Horseman even before you can queue to kill him, which gives the feeling that you are helping no matter your level. And he rhymes in that super awesome voice. You also get to wander the world in search of candy! You get fun masks, wand costumes, and temporary mounts that only work this time of year. This is a time of year where you can celebrate the liberation of the Forsaken, fly on instant-cast mounts, dress up in crazy costumes, eat candy until you get sick... Would it be too biased if I said this was the holiday where I earned my Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake? Perhaps. But that's what makes Hallows End that much more special to me.
Hallow's End has always been my favorite holiday in WoW. It probably goes back to it being the first event I was able to participate in after starting to play WoW. Still trying to get my horse. One day maybe.
I would have to say Brewfest is my favorite. Who doesn't like getting drunk, and then searching for mutant rabbit-bird-deer creatures? Also, the part where you fight off drunken dwarves by drinking beer and throwing the mug at their head, all the while getting tanked out of your mind might have helped my enthusiasm.
I like the Lunar Festival. The idea of traveling around and visiting the elders is fun..plus, who doesn't like fireworks?
I was sold playing wow back in 08 after being shown the sinister sqaushinge and the headless horesman event. Halloween always been a favorite holiday and how wow handled it with the costumes and tricker or treating made me appreciate the game.
Pilgrim's Bounty. My former WoW account was hacked, and my computer's hard drive failed a week after. When I made a new account, it was the first holiday in-game, and I had so much fun again doing and other stuff as a level 18 druid, which was a serious downgrade from a t5 sporting lock, but that holiday is what kept me playing this game, as there was little else that was very fun at so low a level.
