Pirate's Day, because it has the least number of achievements.
My favorite is Brewfest, maybe because i cant drink alcohol irl but i can in wow xD
Mine's gonna have to be the Midsummer Fire Festival. I first started playing while that was going on so it's attached to those memories of "the good old days".

I love children's week, because you can get several pets, which helps me with my 150 pets achievement. I think that the children's week holiday is a great way to understand sort of how real orphans might feel during the holiday seasons; sad, lonely, bored out of their minds and adventurous, without being able to leave the Matron/Patron they don't get to do everything they want, therefore you take them on as a new friend and show them the sights and scenery. I like the fact of the little orphans not being able to make up a route of where they want to go so they send you to "said place" and then to another "Said place" then to the third "Said place" which was right next to the first "said place." The fact that blizzard continues to edit/change/add stuff to each holiday is what's keeping me online. I got my What a Long Strange trip achievement and yet i'm still doing the holidays due to mounts and Pets. Children's week is just a great way for collectors (like myself) to progress in there epic collecting journey and later battle with them in pet battles (MoP). Children's week is also a great time to get your Explorer title, since you go every which way. While Childrens week is going about, I like to take my orphans to place they wouldn't usually go, just because I get too into the RP'ness of it all. I love how at the end of an Orphan chain quest you get mail from them telling you "thanks" . Keep up the amazing work blizzard! I will definately continue to play in MoP no matter what others say :D
My favorite is the midsummer fire festival. When I first started playing wow, this festival was in full swing. The entire world (of warcraft) was so new to me, and the fire festival added a whole new dimension to that. Travelling everywhere to touch the fires allowed me to explore the world. I loved the costumes, the pets, and the atmosphere the festival created. I remember me and my other noob friends would go dance around the poles to pass the time while we talked about the game. Now, whenever that time of year comes around again, I am reminded that this game was not always the job that it is now. I start to remember the magic of having the whole new world of Azeroth open to me.
Winters Veil because it happens during my birthday.
signed up to try this contest and I have been meaning to sign up to post the occasional comment. anyway my favorite holiday is the hallows end holiday. i like all of the holidays for various reasons including non combat pets and holiday bosses, but i enjoy this one the most because it has something that i think no other holiday has. The pumpkins or as i like to call them the gold vending machines. while on my alts they are experience vending machines the fact that my mains can get i think over 900 gold for going to all the pumpkins is quite appealing. To be honest i do not much care for its real life equivilent it is nice to have some aspect of this time of year that is enjoyable. even if the helm only drops for my priest.
To be honest, my favorite is Brewfest by far. It has a charming quality in WoW, and is one of the most 'believable' holidays that the denizens of Azeroth would celebrate. Plus, on an RP server, it is very fun to act out.
Hallows End for sure! Love the dialog in the Horseman encounter and the masks are great to collect!
I like the Lunar Festival. Fly around Azeroth and pay respects to some Elders? It's rather humbling for the day-to-day adventurer.
