I wrote a rather long thread about what i, personally think would have been better choices for a expansion, but it got locked, because it was kinda trollish so a admin locked it, but im gonna risk it anyway and post it here to voice my opinion. (And keep my fingers crossed that the admins are busy raiding and wont see it)

Still don't get why people care so much about talking animals...when we have talking wolves/foxes, cows, oxes/bisons, walruses, bird people, walking fish(now in 4 flavors!), monkeys, and whatever the Mogu are meant to be.
Edit: And just like last time Skum, those are all really dumb ideas.

Can't you see that stating that its just his opinion is also recognizing its possible falsehood, thereby possibly making qwertydood's possible an universal truth?
So in the end, its no longer all opinion.
Sorry, you lost me there.
I simply cannot see the underlined as common sense.
Fair enough. If some kindly passing market analyst or PR person will comment on it, it would be great. Otherwise, I guess we'll have to leave it at that.
Edit: Okay, pushing past I can't parse the sentence: Do you really think anyone passing by will mistake that statement
of all the possibilities for a new expansion, an entire pandaren-based continent is pretty much the worst.
for basic truth? People are going to think "Yeah, right!" and roll their eyes, or go "Yeah right!" and grin in agreement, or just pass it by without further thought.

I'm all for MoP, however...
The talent system revamp doesn't give much choice for many specs. For example, you'd never go without Displacer Beast for feral druid PvP, IMO. Of course, that's all bound to change for better balance, but I seem to disapprove of it...
I liked the "complex" system more. It felt much more flexible, gave a sense of accomplishment for every level-up, and could be tweaked without having to revamp it in such a way.
Besides, there are talent tiers, which are absolutely useless for PvE. A Disengage-related tier for Hunters? Really?

Which has a free heal added to one of the talents.

Well, it's situational at best. With just 6 talents overall, it has to be something of real value.

The race itself isn't childish, but that it is designed to attract more children to play. Roll your eyes all you want and laugh. This statement does not make you correct.Doesn't make your statement anymore correct.
I for one don't see any value of this new panda race being input into the game other than being able to play another animal character mixed with martial arts. After all these formula's seem to be a big selling point. Then in all honesty, just don't play one.
AT least you had something to state other than increasing a post count.Lol, yay for people taking pot shots at post counts! Makes the argument so much more mature!

Again though....Pandarens existed in Warcraft lore long before Kung Fu Panda was even a thought in whichever of the Dreamworks producers minds; so saying they are 'jumping' on a band wagon by introducing them now, when they were originally meant to be the Alliance race for BC well.....

I liked everything they said about MoP on blizzCon. :d

Whee! Another trip on the merry-go-round! :)
Supposing your surmise is correct (and I think it is), it still means that Blizz decided against them before, and
for
them now. Don't you think commercial arguments weigh on their minds at all?
, when they were originally meant to be the Alliance race for BC well.....
They've been said to
consider
Pandaren for an Alliance race in BC. That may mean someone brought it up at a meeting, and everyone else laughed it off for all we know. They were not
originally
anything more than a quick joke in Warcraft 3.

Point to me, if you will, where I said I hate it so much.

anything more than a quick joke in Warcraft 3.No at Blizzcon this year, Metzen said they didn't add them in at that point because they couldn't make them work at the time but now is that time. And seeing as the Pandarens were again in the RPG, and a lot of the new information is matching up with what was in the books, I'd say it's a lot more then a 'quick' joke.
