I know this isn't warlock related, but did you guys see the size of Deathwing?
Players look incredibly small on his back. I'm not sure if this is his actual size, since we've never been actually close to it but, hell, he's gonna be ginourmous!

I think they need to buff iSF up to 25 seconds instead of 20 seconds so that it synergises with Soulburn better. At this stage we will have to cast it again 5-7 seconds before Soulburn comes off cooldown, depending on how sloppy you are with overlapping the buff to keep it up. So we would har cast it, then cast it again when SB is up in like 5 seconds? That's gotta be the definition of Clunky.

Yea, I still don't see destruction being competitive even with the current changes.
Someone posted the ptr simcraft numbers recently, Destro wasn't suddenly the best spec, but it was rubbish anymore either.

On the elitist jerk possible sim for the next patch the disparities of warlock specs seem like they are practically gone. Its a good thing, now we get to play with whatever we like, since all specs have a possibly equal potential amount of dps. Though on movement fights Afflic obviously still beats demo and destruction.

Really nice how the managed to let people choose spec for playstyle and not forced to play top dps spec *cough*demo*cough, always liked destruction, and still keep it as my offspec.

I wonder how strong Meta is gonna be with 4.3 buff and new gear.
Right now I've got about 8.9 mastery, which gives me about 54% extra damage on a normal Meta use, and 75% Meta use + MWC. Can't wait to go over the 100% mark! :D

- Updated patch notes (removed Cataclysm buff)

It is a distinct possibility that
Incinerate
has undergone some bug fixing. The bonus damage from damaging a target with Immolate should now probably scale with spell power instead of just being a flat 1/6 of the base damage. This is a nice buff for destruction and allows Demonology to ditch
Shadow Bolt
all together and respec for
. It should be noted that there has been discussion that the current Demonology spec would be more optimal for fights were you can extensively multidot (source needed).

Considering that we could now drop Shadowbolt, using the Incinerate's Glyph would be better than using Corruption's Glyph?

I'd think so yes. I've run some sims on that spec before (it's an option currently with only a ~1-2% loss in DPS) and using the glyph is a reasonable improvement. The Corruption glyph is always the best of the bad choices anyway.

I'd have to agree. The devs don't seem to be in control of the rotations any more. They're making fixes to strive for better balance but at the cost of gameplay.
I would give them a pass for the "pet twisting" thing because that feels like a mechanic that the players have worked out to be best practice but, as you say, Felhunter for Demo and these coming changes are things that Blizz know about and accept.
