Not in the least; the Night Elves were just as blood thirsty as the Horde when the Orcs and Humans showed up on Kalimdor during the Third War and attacked them without finding out what was going on. Pretty much every single race on Azeroth can be considered bloodthirsty depending on what they are up against:
Humans against the Orcs, Horde members, Undead.
Dwarves against the original Dark Irons, the Horde, the Blacks.
Gnomes against the Leper Gnomes and Thermaplugg.
Night Elves against the Legion, the Scourge, the Undead, the Orcs, the Trolls.
Draenei against the Legion, the Blood Elves of Kael'thas, the Fel Horde.
Worgen against the Undead.
Orcs against the Fel Horde, Humans, Night Elves.
Trolls against pretty much everyone else if they aren't part of the Darkspear who have their bloodthirst against the Alliance forces.
Tauren against the Centaur, the Grimtotem.
Undead against everyone.
Blood Elves against the Night Elves, the Legion, Kael's forces, the Scourge.
Goblins against the Alliance for what they tried to do on the Lost Isles.
do u knw the difference between justice and vengeance? if u come into my territory and start killing farmers and civilians, u want me to just let u walk away? u wud call it bloodthirst if i kill the murderers to bring justice to the dead?
Since the new Horde isn't bloodthirsty, they don't?
now i feel like ur intentionally acting blind.
ok my original comment was garrosh is the right leader for horde, and i will go by it. this horde hav long derailed frm being thrall's horde, it is now again the horde that invaded azeroth and i don't see it becoming thrall's horde again, thrall no longer has any credibility with orcs anymore. and everyone knws orcs are the leader of the horde, no other members of horde gets any say in any matter. if tauren, trolls and blood elves try to make a new alliance that wud be somthin else, but this horde is what it is and garrosh is the only true leader of horde.

The new Horde is nothing like the Demon Horde.

I wouldn't say nothing like, but mostly unlike.
Sold, it's not...since you know, Garrosh is killing Orcs who use weapons of mass destruction, and threatening to kill anyone who uses Fel magics in the war(Stonetalon and Ashenvale). If Garrosh was really like the Old Horde as everyone says he is, he'd be having a line up to let people drink Demon Blood, and slaughtering civilians just like they did.

Garrosh is going to be gone one day, this much is pretty obvious both from Metzens own words and from the absolute lack of decent character development Garrosh has recieved, on purpose.
But people think they have it worked out because they think somehow they can get into the minds of the blizzard devs and can predict so much, which frankly, never actully happens.
And I sure as hell would trust the words of the guy who made the warcraft lore what it is instead of trusting the fabrications of fans who think they have it all worked out.

But Warchief isn't a hereditary position.

But Warchief isn't a hereditary position.
At all; usually it's chosen by the rite of the strongest, as seen when Blackhand first took over, then Doomhammer killed him. It wasn't till Doomhammer was dying that he passed the title onto Thrall, who in turn passed it to Garrosh as he was the only choice available at the time. Had Cairne won the duel in the Shattering, it's entirely possible there would have been an open civil war as orcs started challenging him left and right, since, as said, they won't follow anyone but another Orc leader.

I'd place my bets on Naz'grel and Rexxar. Both probably would not agree with Garrosh's way of handling stuff, and one is a full orc, the other a half one. At least for gameplay reasons, there must always be an orc racial leader.
after what the orcs just pulled I could see blizzard just going the dragon aspect way and just abolish the warchief position, and instead have a ruling council. The only thing that prevents me from believing this is that metzen said a while back "you'll get your warchief back".
Also, after doing the 5.1 questchain and seeing him in action, I think Lor'themar (the new one) would make a BADASS warchief.

o_O why?
I could see some players opposing it (To this day too many believe the elves to be "too pretty" to be on the horde) but lorewise I don't really see why would a blood elf warchief split the horde.
As it stands, the orcs aren't exactly loved. First they enforced an iron fist on the Undercity (granted, this was due to the coup of putress, but still, innocent forsaken are now paying the price for what others did) then there's the whole business with the trolls, don't think they're gonna take that lightly, then there's their treatment of the goblins, I've yet to see an orc treating them nicely, its always bullying, threatening, or abusing them, there's garrosh using the blood elves as disposable pawns to get the divine bell, and the only other horde race left to screw over is the tauren, which are already angry enough at garrosh for killing Cairne, and then proceeded to not aid the tauren in retaking Thunderbluff during their own coup.
Yeah, orcs aint gonna be winning any popularity contests in the horde any time soon.

They may not be, but the Orcs still make up the bulk portion of the Horde forces; they wouldn't vote for a 'wimpy' Blood Elves, especially if it gets out he had been talking to Varian about possibly getting the Blood Elves back into the Alliance.

A: Not down the middle.
Everyone in kalimdor would just leave them and make their own horde.
The blood elves are not warriors, honorable, phyiscally adept or even shamanstic. How will any non-blood elf (And non fanboy) agree?
