if you don't have enough resilience then you find yourself dying a LOTThis is why Resilience was introduced in the first place. Without it, it's too easy to burst people down. If WoW had no Resilience stat or equivalent, people would not only die as fast as they do now if they have no Resilience, they would die faster, as the item budget on people's items would have more DPS stats.
Also, if you raid a lot, and want to do some pvp, you wont have much resilience and have to spend a lot of time getting more pvp gear for resilienceIt's the same the other way; If I PvP a lot, and want to do some serious PvE, I have to spend a lot of time getting more PvE gear so I'm not wasting most of my slot's item budget on Resilience.

And really really high resilience is only needed for Arenas and RBGs in my opinion. But I may be wrong, as my wife is wont to remind me...
Actually, even random world PvP will end with you slaughtered if you don't have any.
I made the mistake of walking into a random on my tank with the 339 set (the only PvP gear I own) and was geting one-shot left and right by everything and its dog.

I hate it, BG's are alot better not at 85 because at 85 the Resi ruins the game. Might be just me but does anyone else find it annoying to try and kill a FC with 2-3 Healers all 4K+ Resi lol.

As opposed to simply getting ambush one shot by a rogue, Aimed (one) Shot by a Hunter, and the entire game being pretty much first hit first kill? FC games pretty much come down to who has more rogues to one shot flaggies than die.

You only get Chimera Shot at like level 70 or 71 at which point resilience exists :p

Level 69 =). Resilience is (almost) nonexistent then.
Also, having level 70 pvp gear as a level 75+ doesn't really count either...(ditto for 83+ with 80 pvp gear)

If anyone here is a troll, its you. I'm still not seeing the point in resil, all it does is extend fights until they start getting boring, especially since almost every class has at least one reliable form of self heals. its simply ridiculous when a rogue vs rogue duel goes past the 2 minute mark.
With resilience I could bring someone from 100-0 in a deep freeze with a small bit of luck, and that's without a partner.

If anyone here is a troll, its you. I'm still not seeing the point in resil, all it does is extend fights until they start getting boring, especially since almost every class has at least one reliable form of self heals. its simply ridiculous when a rogue vs rogue duel goes past the 2 minute mark.
So a 1-3 sec fight or who did hit the first attack because it did take half your hp pools win is better? who mashed the ambush first win? you heard about the famous "stunlock-death" combo?
If you take away resiliance, how are pvpers going to stand a chance vs a full heroic tier pver?
either you the troll or just don't see the diffrence on PvP or PvE gear and the problem it did give before it did come,

don't matter that you used trinket, reread what he said. he could freeze with water then push his deep freze in less then 1 sec, trinket and CC remove could not save the impact , why? because you dead

I don't think the problem at 85 is resilience, at all, but the fact that full pvp-geared people are queued up with freshly dinged 85s with close to zero resilience.
When I hit 85 on my rogue, I got roflstomped in every match, even though I had saved up 4k honor and got a few pieces right off the bat. I recently hit 2k resil and it's getting harder to kill me. I still die more often than not, but at least now it doesn't feel like I get steamrolled.
I actually feel the progress on my char, which is a good thing. I expect that by the time I hit full pvp gear on her, I'll be laughing and enjoying pvp again (it was fun at lower brackets).
The way I see it, the only way for Blizzard to fix the "resilience problem" is to seperate the lowlevel resilience players from the ones with a truckload of resilience, but that would increase queuetimes, which is even worse. Between the two, I'll spend my time running from the graveyard, thank you very much.
And payback's a #$%^&, all you gits who have enjoyed killing a certain female troll rogue in random bgs lately...

Thats why people have pvp trinkets and some classes have stun removing cds
Deep Freeze has a thirty second cooldown. Trinket has a two minute cooldown.
If I popped DPS trinket + Pillar, I could kill someone in three seconds not setup required as a Frost DK, especially humans with the extra DPS trinket.
