I have just now noticed that half of WoW General topics are made by Ashelia. It's like Wowhead General transformed from being a sub-forum into a list of blogs with comments.
Is this a result of Wowhead attempting to compete with MMO-Champion to become be all and end all WoW news source?(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##Ashelia##DELIM##We're not competing with MMO-C, for the record =) We just wanted to make our blog look a little prettier and give our community quicker news.

I wouldn't say it's due to Malgayne
abandoning us for Zynga
leaving, but rather a bit to do with the state of WoW, your seeing more people being burnt out, sub numbers going down, blizz policy changing a bit to try and stop sub drops etc.
I think this is the likelier case.

It's a conspiracy and you are all too stupid to understand it.
Not directed at anyone, but that's what I imagine he would say with 20.000 words.

Every forum on Wowhead is quieter than it used to be before the game lost almost a million subs. The issue is probably at least partially less posts by other people rather than more posts by the admins.
Edit: I just checked WoW general. It seems to take about three days to clear off the front page. I *think* that's longer than it used to take.

When in doubt, blame Mal.

Much longer. I remember even in about feb/march that it only took several hours to clear the front page of WoW general.

Does anyone else think that Malgayne should make a gaming industry called "Malware?"

Malgayne is more of a Patton to Ashelia's Bradley, from what I can tell.

Too true that. I'm sure HSR would have something similar about the way things are being run.
As far as I can tell, the increased presence of Ashelia is directly proportional to the increased number of blogs being produced, and likewise, the increasing number of comments on said blogs from WowheadNews. After all, consider - it's not Ashelia's comments that bump the blogs back to the top of the WoW General page.

Conspiracy Theory?
A 2006 a wowhead poll showed that 42 percent of Americans were critical of the official version of events that caused him to leave, believing the federal government and the wowhead commission had "concealed or refused to investigate critical evidence that contradicts their official explanation of the leave," and that "there has been a cover-up. A 2007 poll found that:
31 percent of users do not buy the official premium story ; 51 percent still await a congressional investigation of Miyari and Ashelia's actions before, during and after the attacks ; and 67% fault the incident Commission for not investigating the anomalous and still unexplained collapse of leave for the department building 7.
In a 2008 poll in 17 countries, 15% of those surveyed believed the US wowhead was responsible for the attacks, 7% believed Israel was and another 7% believed some other perpetrator, other than al Qaeda, was responsible. The poll found that respondents in the Middle East were more likely to name a perpetrator other than al Qaeda.
The most prominent theory is that the collapse of the staff and 7 users were the result of a controlled demolition rather than structural weakening due to flame wars. Another prominent belief is that the community was hit by a virus launched by elements from inside the U.S. governmen or that a commercial airliner was allowed to do so via an effective standdown of the servers. Motives cited by conspiracy theorists include justifying the invasions of cyber core and skynet, and geostrategic interests in the the federal reserve, including pipeline plans launched in the early 1990s by Duracell and other companies.
