I don't believe it. Stinks of sensationalism.

for me personally, I feel it has a good aspects to it, like "no prostitution and porn"
You do realise that prostitution is generally illegal in the rest of the world too, yes?
Anyway, if this is true, which I'm having a hard time believing, I'll be interested in seeing how they "enforce" this. Sure, the community/ies in question might frown upon behaviour not in agreement with their islamic laws, but I don't think they can actually punish anyone for not following them. I mean, they would still have to follow the set laws of the country, yes?
Nothing wrong with a being a bastard either; I am one and proud of it.
Why would you be proud of it? Or be proud of not being one. That makes no sense..
Cause it confuses the hell out of people who try to use it as an insult when you go 'thanks'.

That "rest of the world" is not as large as it sounds.
Map
. In green countries, prostitution is legal and not regulated. In blue countries, prostitution is legal and regulated. In red ones, prostitution is illegal. Grey ones are "no data available".
A large part of Europe is fine with prostitution. And what the hell is with that one American state lol.

That's the Daily Mail all over. It's probably about as reliable as The Sun, so I wouldn't believe that article at all.

Whatever. If some preacher in the states had a bunch of kids hanging up posters that said "Christian Zone Here" and said no porn, no drugs, no alcohol, etc., and he said that he wanted to prepare for the Kingdom of God, people's reactions would be at best "Aww- those kids are trying to make the neighborhood a better place" and at worst "Gah- those religious people always think they can tell us what to do. Screw them." or "That preacher is kind of a nut, lol." Since it's a Muslim religious leader, it's considered a plot to take over England.

Please don't post up links to that right-wing hate-and-fear-mongering &*!@-tip of a 'news'paper and think they have any actual connection to reality.
Have a look here for starters if your not familiar with the Daily Mail
http://www.mailwatch.co.uk/
More important than their right-wingedness (since even FOX news very occasionally says something I'll agree with) the Daily Mail is a tabloid. Welcome to tabloid journalism, people who read the link in the OP.

That site is freakin hilarious, in a really really terrifying way.
This. Whoever is tearing those apart makes me laugh, but it's still kind of scary that people are actually reading the tabloid he's making fun of.

wat are ur thoughts on this?
Well it would seem we know
one person's
response to this. I realize no one (I hope) would ever respond that drastically), but I would caution everyone to not respond with hatred, anger, or bitterness. There is a fine line between revolutionary and terrorist, so I think understanding and self-education are the key things needed to combat things like this.

And what the hell is with that one American state lol.
That state is Nevada home of Las Vegas also known as Sin City which pretty much describes it perfectly.
It's only some counties that have legal prostitution, not the whole state, and prostitution is illegal in Las Vegas itself.

Not to derail the thread, but I've always been of the mind that prostitution is legalized the world over. It's only a strict definition of prostitution as "a direct exchange of money for sex" that's sometimes illegal. :However, if I were to, say, offer to have sex with someone for taking me out for dinner at a fancy restaurant, but you never handed me a cent? I'd say the legal system would have a tough time proving that was prostitution; most people would call it a "date".
