There should be no limit. If you go over the width of the page, the rest of the tabs will go on a new line.

Strange. I guess I have to look my BBCoding through.
I've checked and rechecked it 20 times now but only Auras and Seals show up in the spell section!
Could it be a bug?

Azazel, the problem is that your tab names have spaces in them. That's fine but you need to enclose the names in "quote marks" to differentiate them as a single entry.
eg.

Ohhh, I see. Going to fix that right now. Thanks for the heads up asakawa!
It worked perfectly! Now (I think) my guide is finished! Thanks a lot man!

Is the BBCode <
Insert text here
> still working? Cause it doesn't seem to work on the preview. D:
Edit: Nor here. It's what Asakawa used for the main tittles on
this thread
.
Edit2: Nevermind. I just saw it is not allowed to users. D:

I just want to add a non-tech comment.
I think there should be a feature where Guides etc get some type of ´required´ re-review after every 6 months or so. I like that you guys are building this site out to include more than a database and forums.. but one of the BIG problems with these type of guides is how quickly they become obsolete... and then they just linger around forever.. yeah, i guess gradually they will be voted down.. but it really trashes the integrity of the site when it becomes cluttered with mostly outdated guides.
Guides like the best way to make gold are obsolete within a few months of being created. BIS or Rotation type guides likewise become inaccruate with just a minor patch for Blizzard.
My suggestion would just be for some type of automation be involved with re-reviews so that every guide gets looked at frequently.

I am trying to write a guide right now, but how do I do colors, bigger text, and tabs?
Sorry, I am kinda newby =D
Here
, or look for any other BBCode guide.
Ugh, I'm having problems with the images on my guide. >_<

So... in my guide, I have the additional tips, which are currently a
numbered list
. Within a numbered list, it is quite difficult to format things to look nice. The "hr" line doesn't work for example, and standard "br" line breaks neither (hence why the header of the following tip is always stuck to the previous tip so tightly). On the other hand, since I planned the additional tips to be the "text heavy" section of my guide, I really like the distance the
numbered list
puts between the text and the left border of the guide. I think it gives it a bit of a book-ish feel and such.
Also I do not want to compress the additional tips into tabs, for I find their... vertical... girth, attractive. I also would not like the additional tips to lie about how long are they gonna take to read.
Is there any other way to set all the text a bit to the right without putting it into a list? I have seen BBC tags that were
on one forum, but they do not work here.

You could use togglers or you could abuse of the non-breaking space
With that code, you can freely use spaces even if "hr" doesn't work. Just use your spacebar, enter and delete keys to set the proper space.

Maybe this? hello
By the way, any idea how to put images inside tabs? o_O

The non-breaking space thingy is somewhat what I would like it to
look like
, except I would have to add it into every line, and the span of a line is different on different resolutions. So that would be a mess. It also isn't quite as much distance from the left border as I get from the list.
Aligning the text to the right isssss not a good idea :D
I think the "div" might be what I am looking for though. From Asakawas formatting guide, it seems like I can maybe make the text float to the right by a set distance? I have no idea how exactly the syntax is though, because I am a huge noob in all this formatting stuff. Tabs were easy to comprehend, but boy did I have to struggle with tables, back when they were added. And they still do not look exactly like what I'd like them to.

Putting an image into a tab works fine for me. I just tried:
bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla
Result = prettyness
btw: I think we are hijacking this feedback topic with formatting talk. *punches self*

Try this, you can change both factors and see what happens, but I think that's what you are looking for:lol

You could be right about that, lol.
And I could get 1 image inside a tab, but it looks awful, lol.
